One star less for not sending the green color one.The picture displayed is green, and I got a blue.Trust me the blue does not look that good.Coming to the product, it is just too good for its price. Out of the box, charged the battery for sometime, the power delivery is good. The remote came with batteries in it. Took it out for a spin inside the house and I didn't have enough obstacles to deal with. Took it out on the road and it was superb. The radio has a good range, went over rocks and ups and downs with ease. The battery runs out after about 15 - 20 mins. To save battery, try not to steer and drive at the same time. This makes all the three motors to draw power at the same time thus exhausting the battery fairly quickly. The tires are soft rubber, but not as soft as expected. I wish it was a bit more soft. The suspension springs are on slightly the stiffer side considering the weight of the vehicle, but it still is good.Now the cons. I wish the battery removal and re-installing could have been made easier. This one requires you to keep a screw driver handy all the time. The battery connector has to be dealt with carefully. No not by a child, but this definitely need an adult to do it carefully.All in all, its a good package and lots of fun. Enjoy your ride !

I loved the green colour, however, I got delivered a blue one. Not a problem as the seller has said that colours may vary. But, first things first.Unlike all the other remote control toys which I have bought for my son (who is now five and a half years old), this proved to be the solid purchase by far. It stood upto its name as my son tested its capacity by making it climb bricks, jump from the bed onto the ground and what not. He is super excited of its capability to perform wonders. He just regrets of its inability in climbing walls (well every kid wants something unique which we parents or designers can't provide all the time).PROS:1) The quality of the product is just too good. It appears rugged. Never tested in rain or water.2) The range of the remote is very good unlike all the expensive lamborghini, mclaren models which I bought earlier.3) It got a decent suspension which will make the child happy as it surpasses all minor hurdles with ease and continues its journey.4) Battery lasts fair enough depending upon the usage of each child.CONS:The only thing which I feel cumbersome and could have been done while building this model is with regard to RECHARGING THE BATTERIES.The battery comes with a male socket and the female socket is located inside the battery chamber. So in order to charge the batteries, every time you have to open the battery chamber, disconnect the batteries, pull them out, close the chamber, connect the batteries to the charger, once charged, open the chamber again, insert the batteries, connect them and then close the chamber again. This whole lot of exercise is a little frustrating. Instead, there could have been a direct point from the charger to the battery chamber for direct recharge. But this lonely CON can be overcome by the fact that your kid will enjoy the Rock Crawler very much.

Overall this Rock Crawler is fun to play and my kids have been enjoying from day one.Toy comes with good design, has good suspension, rubber wheels with medium power range and speed.Here are some Pros and ConsPros:1. Design is rugged and good, Quality of product could have been better in this price tag2. Range of remote is good, Tested indoor, few wall interferences never bothers it3. Battery lasts fair enough based on usageCons1. As said, for this price tag, quality of product could have been better, one less star for this2. Charging the toy needs skills which could not be done even by 10 year old kid. To charge the betteries, you have to remove the battery and connect it to the charger. A small DIY can help, You can add DPDT switch along with external connector for charge, so battery charging can be done without removing from the toy while keeping it disconnected from internal circuitry while charging. One less star for charging hassle3. There is no variable speed control as well as variable steer angle from the remote. So speed is either full (in forward or reverse) or zero, same with steer, either it is full left\right or straight. Anyway, you can not expect such capability in this price range.

I wanted this a Bday gift for my son who turned three last week. I liked another rock crawler which had slightly better ratings than this one but I had to choose this as it was prime and 1 day delivery was available. I got it delivered in less than 24 hrs. thank you for the quick delivery. Arrived fully packed. unboxed it. It was pretty good to look at. the size was good. The remote is light plastic but very attractive especially the light green colour.Charged it for eight hours (first time) as recommended. Me and my son took it out to a ground and specifically wanted to drive it on a rocky area and WOW, it performs so well. Its not the quickest but can climb anything and it is so much fun driving it. My 3 year old son learnt is pretty quickly and I loved the expression he had on his face while playing with it. A full charge will last 30-40mins play time which is very good.For the price I got it, its an absolute value for money.However, I found this product in the whole sale toy market in begum bazaar hyderabad for 100/- less than the price I got it on Amzon. But no regrets.

I must say I'm really impressed with this purchase. They send me the green one (yaay), it's quite sturdy, the quality is good. The soft rubber tyres are really good, grips almost every surface. The 4x4 and independent suspension works really well, climbs over almost everything. I drove it for 20+ minutes (not on full charge) until it starts to tire down, which I still think it quite good considering those 4 tiny batteries are powering 3 powerful motors. Quite fast acrually but you can control the speed with your finger. Been driving it for 4 days, lets see how it goes. Thanks amazon.
