Samsung 970 Evo 500GB NVME M.2 High Speed Solid State Drive with V-Nand

We got is yesterday 13th Jul, 2018. In image it is mentioned that product is made in Korea whereas we received Made in China. It feels bad to us. But product is working fine. Samsung Magician is showing as Genuine product. We are using it in Dell 7570. We look forward to own one 1TB 970 evo too. Once you buy it then you will install is in your system which will be having the UEFI mode by default. Kindly create the installation USB with UEFI mode using Rufus software then change your system BIOS setting to boot from USB then you will be able to install new window as well. Kindly change the drive format to gpt as well otherwise it will show you error saying you cannot install windows on this system. Following these steps you will be able to get new fresh windows installed and it works fine.

Pros: The 970 EVO matched a 960 Pro for sequential reads and was ~20% faster in sequential writes. That's amazing, considering the price difference between the two drives. There are other NVMe drives with the same performance but they either cost significantly more or do not come with Samsung's excellent support software, warrant, and endurance rating. Samsung Magician makes firmware updates and drive-optimization dead-simple without being a resource hog. The endurance rating of the 970 EVO is also excellent; you'll need to step up in price by quite a bit to get better.Cons: It used to be that there was Samsung and then everybody else. Now competitors offer similar or even slightly higher performance for less money. If you are on a budget, WD, Crucial, etc. have equally speedy drives that are less expensive. None, however, have support software even close to Samsung's class. Nor are the warranties or endurance ratings as good.Other Thoughts: I opted for the EVO 970 to get a fast drive that (1) was easy to manage and update, (2) had an excellent warranty, and (3) had a high endurance rating. If you are not going to be hammering on the drive daily, a less expensive option from a competitor could be a good call. If support and reliability factor in, the EVO is a great compromise without breaking the bank to enterprise drive levels.

I bought a new hp laptop and wasn't pleased with the hdd. I spend 7k on this and walla, it is better than a gamer's laptop. Incredible speeds. Wanted something with a dram and evo seemed to be a strike of perfect balance in budget and performance.

This is quite a good product to improve considerable performance of you new or old build. Even in old systems, after installing and booting OS from this. You will see a great increase in speed

A best product for laptops and pc'sI hay laptop and by installing thus nvme ut had become about 10x fasterSurely it was taking 1.35min approximately to boot early but now boots up in just 7-8 seconds and every programmes also have became very fast.Overall, Its the best product.

It's nice SSD for MSI laptop. Pl check carefully it Will not work in SATA M.2 SSD Port. it will also not work with Asus GL552VW. Otherwise this produce is nice and high speed.
