Mountain View Seeds Natures Own Pacific Northwest Mix Grass Seed, 8-pounds

So far this seed is performing beyond my expectations...can't wait to see it in a month! I am using seed over an existing unhealthy lawn with bare spots. I put down a bit of new topsoil, raked it into existing lawn and water thoroughly 2-3 times a day. I love supporting locally-owned business in my region as well.

I have two large Labs who love to chase each other, especially after soaking in their dog pond. Grass not only comes up in divots but wet muddy divots. Since this becomes worse with Seattle's marshy Fall, Winter and Spring weather, bought this seed - way more than I needed. Overseeded at the end of September and woooohoooo, I have an almost perfect lawn in about three weeks. Still some emtpy areas but they are small, not the muddy mess that I have at the end of every summer. Highly recommend for big dog owners who allow romping on the grass.

I have tried several lawn seeds and this is the best germination and production of a brilliant lawn of any other. Very full dense growth. No weeds. For my particular area (western Washington). It is the grass seed I will use next year again.

Great seed. High germination rate. Really good for wet conditions and I'm convinced it needs less water than other grass also.

I put this seed down on some bare patches in my lawn and did everything I was supposed to - waited until it warmed up and the other grasses were growing, aerated and raked the soil, used covered with a new topsoil, fertilized, and then watered daily. After 2 weeks I haven't seen a single blade of grass. Total waste of my time and money, not to mention the other products I bought to go along with this.
