This robe has to be tried on to really understand just how soft it feels. It has a nice medium weight that I would consider a four seasons robe. It's tailored beautifully with attention to detail such as one side of the wrap around belt being sewn to the robe. I appreciate this as it keeps the belt with the robe during laundering. I like the hood also as it adds style and extra warmth when needed. This robe is 100 percent cotton which is my material of choice for it's comfort and coolness. I'm 5'6", weight 127, and the medium fits me perfectly. It comes down to slightly below the knee. I would describe this robe as a more tailored slim fit. I really like the navy color and the white piping gives it contrast and polish. This would be a lovely gift for yourself or others. I posted some pics and hope they help you in your choic. Impressed with quality of fabric - nice thicker feeling knit. Navy blue with crisp white piping trim and the seams are all sewn nicely. Nice size pockets. Inner tie as well as the outside belt which is stitched on the robe on one side to keep them together. Overall I'm very impressed and happy with this robe. I prefer a lighter robe over the thicker heavier types and this is perfect. Would not hesitate to purchase again.

While there are a gazillion thick, fuzzy robes on the market for cold weather, it's harder to find a good robe that's lightweight while still providing coverage for warmer seasons. The M&M women's bathrobe does an excellent job of fulfilling that need.In terms of sizing, at the time of writing this review I am 5' 4 1/2" tall and weigh 128 pounds. The medium fit well, although I should note that the sleeves hung rather long, extending well over my wrist. Of course, with bathrobes that doesn't really matter.The style of the bathrobe is quite attractive. I like that there is a hood, and the white piping on the sleeves and pockets is an eye-catching touch. Speaking of pockets, there are two medium-sized pockets on the robe, big enough to stash a phone and some tissues, but not a whole lot more. Even better, it's got a loop at the back of the neck to allow for hanging on a hook without stretching the back of your robe all out of shape, a feature I think should be considered mandatory for a robe but alas is lacking on many examples.The belt is stitched in place on the robe at the back. I haven't used the robe long enough to determine whether this is something I like or not. On the one hand, it ensures that the belt isn't going to get lost, and you won't have to be constantly readjusting it to make it even around your waist. On the other hand, it also means that you don't have the option of removing it for washing, and I sometimes have problems with long cords etc. getting all twisted up when I'm doing laundry. I will also confess to being somewhat baffled as to why the robe was *also* designed with belt loops; if you've got the belt stitched on, it would seem that belt loops are unnecessary. Oh well.

I cannot rave enough how soft this robe is! I ordered it to take to the hospital for when I have my second baby. After having my first baby I knew I wanted something longer and definitely not silky for the second. This robe was literally perfect in every way and the color is super cute we’re having a girl so I got pink and it’s adorable and not dingy at all! I ordered a size up because I have to have a c-section and I’d rather have it baggy and it already fits perfect even with my bump! Also the length is great and I won’t have to worry about things flashing while trying to get In and out of bed! I will be ordering more colors for me and somefor my mom and sisters for everyday use!

I've only worn the robe a couple times so far and I love it already. Other reviewers said the robe runs small & I'm a petite 5'2" & 123 lbs so I bought a medium rather than a small & they were right, it fits great. I also love the large pockets & it's the perfect length.I bought this robe from Amazon because my area store beginning with a W doesn't sell robes, at least not in August. But they'll put the Halloween stuff out before school starts!

So happy with this robe! I bought this for the hospital when I give birth- but have used it before going to the hospital and plan on using it after. It’s soft, a great length, and provides enough coverage where I feel like I could answer my front door while wearing it and not feel exposed- and I’m literally a huge 9 months pregnant. And the pockets on the front are perfect for your phone or whatever else.It’s good quality, fits great, and came quickly- I’m so glad that I purchased it. Wouldn’t be surprised if I ended up ordering another soon.

Very happy with this robe. I’m 39 weeks pregnant (currently 5’3” 185) and bought this because I need something to bring to the hospital and home that will cover my body pre and postpartum and allow easy breastfeeding. This fits the bill perfectly. It has a thick jersey or a thin sweatshirt feel. Not to hot and not to cold. XL covers everything I need covered without being constricting and falls to about mid calf. It’s simple and dark colored which is exactly what I was looking for. Overall very happy with this robe.I do want to point out that I got a size XL based on another reviewer who had a photo of the tag saying that an xl was a 12/14. My tag is different saying that an xl is a 12-16. I’m ok with the size as I’ve said, but this is so others can see that there’s clearly some discrepancies in size so order carefully.

I purchased this as one of my wife's mothers day gifts she loved the fact that it was cotton. I brought her a silky/sexy one before this one and its safe to say that, that was a waste of money. But shes had this one since mothers day and so far so good. I would buy this again.
