A: No battery. 110 volt only.

**Q: Can you set an alarm on this device?**
A: This radio is not designed to set alarms.

**Q: Does it have an auxiliary line inn?**
A: I don't think so. Bought it for my Mother-in-law who wanted just a radio next to her bed at night. Put it on a timer so it would go off by 11:00 pm. Just a radio I believe.

**Q: What kind of wood is it made of?**
A: I don’t know, but it looks classic on my desk.
