We are buy the scanner because we need to the barcode for the store. This barcode scanner is very easy to set up and easy to use and can scan all different types of barcode. Pretty light too the worker is very easy to learn how to use the barcode.

The power requirements for this product are not published. I place a question but I received not reply and I see the question in not on the list. Current draw as measure is 115mA a idle, ~200mA boot up, and ~300mA during scan. This exceeds the current limit for the device I intended to use this on. They lose 1 star for not publishing standard electrical specifications. They lose a second star for not responding to my enquiry. The price is great and the product did work on a standard USB computer port.

This scanner worked fine when I first got it. I sat it aside for about a month while I got some things set up to be able to use it and then it wouldn't work. By this time the warranty was out of date.
