Excellent dustbin and exactly what we were expecting. Just one improvement suggestion - the lid should stay open if it senses a hand over it. It closes on a set time (I think 2-3 seconds) even if I am in the middle of putting trash in it.

Very very useful. All the chopping in the kitchen has become hassle free because you can place it on your counter and easily throw all the trash away. The inside ring is smaller than the lid though so the garbage bag doesn't fit in it. The touch panel is also completely useless because it will go bad in a few months anyway. It is still a useful product though.

The product came with the WRONG instruction sheet that belongs to another product, then we tried to put on batteries and NOTHINH work, one of the battery slots had a barrier so the battery wont stay still it will jump, I have returned it!

Me encanta. Es pequeño, bonito y muy práctico. Lo que más me gusta es la apertura y cierre automático, súper cómodo en el día a día. Además, la basura no se ve y no sale ningún olor, que para mí es clave. No tengo nada negativo que decir, cumple perfectamente.

I bought two of these as they were expensive I bought this one to see if it was any good then the second one after I found it was. This was the first one. The idea is simple. A plastic box with a lid that opens in both directions due to a hinge system. Either up or forward out of the way. This one I wanted for food waste. The lid is double skinned which makes cleaning interesting as water gets between the inner and outer lid. When the lid is tipped forward because of the inner and outer lid it sometimes it falls off, but the fit is usually good enough to hold it. It seems to be well made. I have fitted the bucket to the inside of a cupboard and it does the job even if it costs slightly more than reasonable it feels like it was worth the extra few pounds.

COMPOST BIN – UPDATE_260820th An Important Warning – FRAGILE Springs on lid So it’s just almost a month that I’ve received this wonderful product which has been working excellently to-date. Unfortunately, this evening the spring on the lid fell off. I had not even truly noticed the springs before (see pics). The incident occurred whilst changing the bags. Fortunately, it’s a loose spring and is easily clipped on BUT the reality is it will fall off again for sure. Therefore I will need to find a workaround – perhaps glue or some such, otherwise the versatility of the lid will be lost. As it is, the lid is designed to either lift up or slide forward. I could remove one star from the product but it’s been so useful and effective, I’ve decided to just warn prospective buyers so that they’re aware of this fault in the design. I am still happy with my purchase. The bin has good capacity, keeps ALL scents within even onions (imagine that!) and is super easy to clean whilst, as per my earlier review, it fits neatly beneath my kitchen counter on the inside of the kitchen cupboard. Still a 5-star product at its cost-efffective price point; longevity (maybe) not so much. 260711s: This is AWESOME! I couldn't be more pleased. Easy to assemble, easy to EMPTY, easy to CLEAN, keeps ALL SMELLS TRAPPED, fits NEATLY within kitchen the cupboard, you do not see any overhanging bag, is of great capacity for its purpose (at 2.5gal) and works exactly as described both by product description and by the many POSITIVE reviews I read before purchase. Need I say more? The bin even comes with bags supplied. I reiterate, it's awesome! I even got a bonus function with the versatile lid; the little tag on the top sort of catches on the 'under lip' of the kitchen counter which means it sometimes opens automatically for me - lol. I've tried to add pics that show the construction for hanging purposes, e.g. the grooves for the hanger etc. TIP.1 - as mentioned by another reviewer, because the bag itself is compostable and will begin to decompose if left too long, I'm emptying at least every 2 days. TIP.2 - take the entire top of the bin off when removing the bag and just in case there is an unknown leak, walk with the bin itself to your main composter/disposal method. The bin is truly easy to assemble so why not?! TIP3 - put the compost bag through the ring and if there's a tie draw the string so that the top fits snug and then insert into the bin. Notwithstanding this glowing review, please note that I am JUST an ORDINARY buyer like yourself and there's no reward for me except satisfaction in my purchases. However, I rely heavily on your reviews so feel obligated to share the same guidance I enjoy.
