She loves it and we like how durable it is
Just bought this balance bike for our daughter for her 5th birthday. We haven't taught her to ride a bike yet and wanted to speed up the process. She loves it and we like how durable it is! A lot of other brands, even Strider, had cheap plastic tires. We also like that it has a break and that it fits her little hand. We were told by some friends not to get a bike without a break because it helps them learn to coordinate breaking while balancing. This seems to be the highest quality bike we researched. Also happy that it was easy to put together (took like 5 minutes)! Awesome gift!!

A Disappointment!
Not only were instructions confusing and hard to follow, the bicycle seat was too narrow for the seat piping. No matter how much the fastener was tightened, the seat kept slipping around. I packed it up and am sending back to Amazon - what a disappointment. Sadly, I had to show up for my grandson's birthday without the promised balance bike.

Brakes don't really work but my son loves it and this one is hundreds less than other similar (brake) models.
For the price, this is a great product but one of the reasons I bought this one is for the brakes, which don't work. My son previously had the easy rider classic, which he outgrew. He's not quite ready for a regular bicycle and I wanted him to get a feel for using a brake system, since he has balance bike experience and can move fast. I did try tightening the brakes it looks like really cheap sandpaper disk brakes. I will say that if I had to do it again, this bike is great for the money and I would buy it again but if brakes are really important to you, keep this in mind.

Looks nice but some cost corners cut.
The product looks great and once assembled I think it will be fine, but the build quality does not seem great. The adjustment for the seat really needs to be a system where you do not need to find the Allen key every time it needs to be adjusted. Speaking of the Allen key the one provided is awful. I am not sure if it is not hardened steel or if I just got a bad one but after trying to tighten the handle bars it had completely rounded out and I had to get one out of the toolbox. The product looks great and when it is all together seems like fine quality but will not be convenient to raise or lower seat.

If you have problems assembling, don't try the website.
So I tried sending a message about missing assembly instructions on their website, and the form to submit a message seemingly doesn't send the contents of the form! I hope it's just my browser because that would be hilariously sad. Here's what I was going to send:"I recently purchased a balance bike, SKU: 839369000204 Blue Pattern Metal Balance Bike. I cannot find the "Fork Spacer". Is it already inserted into the frame? I cannot find assembly instructions on this site, and scanning the QR code takes me to a page that doesn't have any video, just a form to sign up for an email list.Kinda. Lame.I'll just put it together assuming the spacer is already in there, but the lack of instructions, especially when the packaging directs me to a blank page on your site, that's pretty poor form. Hope the bike is better than the site."I'll definitely improve my rating is either the site is fixed to contain the instructions they direct you too on the package, and/ or if the bike is superb.

We researched balance bikes quite a bit before deciding on this one.
We bought this for our toddler's 3rd birthday. He really likes it and we do too! We researched balance bikes quite a bit before deciding on this one. We chose this one because of the size (adjustable), tires (not plastic), the weight (light for him to move around easily), the look is pretty sweet and the cost was reasonable. It's a durable looking little bike and dad didn't have any trouble putting it together. Hoping our little guy will get plenty of use out of it.

Say no to training wheels and yes to a balance bike!
My son is 2 and absolutely loves this balance bike! I'm so glad I bought this bike and decided to skip the training wheels. The concept of this is perfect and what every child needs. Training wheels create a dependence and your child will most likely get hurt when it's time to remove them. A balance bike does not create that dependence therefore your child is less likely to fall and get hurt.

Unhappy
Like a few posters on here the bike is not easy to put together. It is not 'hard' to do but the supplied wrench and hex key are awful. The placement of the nuts to tighten is difficult to get to and tighten properly without gnarling out the nut. They cannot be tightened satisfactorily, and the bike (like another poster) was missing the fork washer. The website is a disaster to try and contact them, I have tried a few times and have no idea if the message was sent. Would avoid for peace of mind - will update if the company get back to me and the problems are resolved.
