This velociraptor figure is part of wave 2 of the basic dinosaur figures which Mattel has released for their main Jurassic World line. It is a repaint of the Attack pack Velociraptor Blue from wave 1. As like previous reincarnation of the JP/JW this velociraptor figure is not to scale, but represent the size of the raptor how it appears in the movies. I got this figure for $7.99, but the price depends from the seller or country from which the figure is bought and/or the availability of the figure.As far as the figure goes it is made of a ind of soft plastic so it wouldn't pose any threat to young children. The figure has 5 points of articulation, one at each arm and one at each leg, and the last one is used for the jaw. Unfortunately the head is at a fixed pose.The figure itself is sculpted in a dynamic pose.The fuigure is casted in an orange plastic with painted eyes, teeth and tongue. Also a brown pattern adornes her back and head. As far as paint goes, this figure reminded me a lot of the electronic Velociraptor figure released in 1993 by Kenner.In conclusion, this figure is a nice addition for any dinosaur/jurassic park franchise fan.

((This is for the Attack Pack Velociraptor orange variant)) Bought this on Amazon because I wasn't having any luck finding it in stores and it was normal retail price... a lot of the JW toys on Amazon are waaaay hiked-up. Don't bother. Just wait. So thank you!I really wanted this one because it resembles the old "Electronic Screech" orange raptor from the original JP 1993 toy line. One of my favorites! And I still have it! So it's and nice throwback. My only criticism is that this particular figure seems to have notorious paint issues with the eye paint being offset... some worse than others. The one eye received is suffering from this issue, but I was planning on repainting the eyes anyway. Knowing this, buy at your own risk! Especially if you don't want to fix it or want to keep in-box.This is not an Amazon issue, but a quality control thing with Mattel. So it still gets five stars from me since it got what I ordered and it was shipped quickly with Prime.
