I am loving this book. The explanations are really helpful for remembering the kanjis and in some cases, understanding the origin of the words which makes it quite interesting! The exercises are engaging and useful for understanding the real-world applications of the kanjis. This is exactly the kind of book I was looking for. The only thing is that I did not get the CD with the book, which is disappointing. I still gave it a 5 star because the book is very useful.

I love this product so much actually it's so good for beginners the only thing is its little bit hard to find the Chinese reading and Japanese ready but we can easily go through it and another thing is it has small space to writebut if you want to learn Kanji you should go for itAnd also it how reading practice and vocabularyThank you Amazon

Overjoyed with this purchase! I needed a good exercise book to review the kanji for my upcoming JLPT exams...this is it! It's also really useful for beginners who are just getting started with comprehensible explanation, motivational introductions and the additional content from the CD. The space to practice writing the kanji in might be a little cramped, so I'd suggest printing out trace sheets on which you can practice writing bigger at first. All in all, amazing purchase! Fully recommended.

The best book for beginners in my opinion, if you're preparing for N4 I highly recommend you buy this book when you start learning N4 and do a few Kanjis a day. For those who want to use the flashcards and stuff they have mentioned their website on page 13 of the book on how to download it. Once you download that, use them however you like. There are many practice lessons for reading as well. Overall a great option to buy for practicing Kanjis.

This is my first book I had ever brought for learning Japanese and I think it's worth paying for it ,not just because of the attractive cover page but because of the way it is kept . Everything is in a sequence which reduces your effort but the only thing disappointed me is that they haven't given an explanation on "kun" reading and "on" reading , this doesn't mean they haven't recognised it , they have showed it but in a different way for ex "on" readings are in capital and "kun"readings are in small letters and what I liked is the explanation on how the language has come into being and also the CD they have attached at the end on the cover page which helps you to improve your prounciation and many more .

This book is infinitely helpful for kanji beginners. As we all know, kanji are borrowed from Chinese characters, they give a brief meaning of a specific kanji, both in on-yomi (Chinese pronounciation of the kanji) and Kun-yomi( japanese pronounciation of the kanji) reading, whicb is so so so helpful for kanji learners. Thank You for the so so awesome book. I'd TOTALLY recommend this to every person who is beginner of kanji learning.

At first I was hesitant because of the cost and the size but I bought it eventually! The best thing is you can practice in the book itself and if you're lazy like I am then that's probably the most convenient. It also has mnemonics to help you memorise. I'm so glad I bought this book. Goodluck, fellow japanese learners!
