I've enjoyed Brad Thor for a few years now, and when I had the opportunity to get his repertoire for Kindle, I didn't hesitate. None of his works, thusfar, are "high literature," but that's OK. What I have found is that his books ARE very engaging and fun to read. The protagonist is, in my view, a sort of ultrapatriotic action hero, without superpowers but with a LOT of connections. Thor manages to make his villains believable and evil, but doesn't just paint them as two-dimensional. I've also been impressed with the character relationships that have permeated his novels and, like life, continue to grow, change, ebb, and flow.I'd recommend these to anyone looking for a rollicking good time (a la Dirk Pitt) but with a more political, serious bent.

When I bought the first book in a series "The Lions Of Lucerne" it would have been nice if the authors buy the first 3 books for this reduced price was offered. It did not only after I bought the #1 book in the series and read it and went to buy the #2 book did the buy 3 for reduced price came up. I thought I would buy it and expected the software to say hey you already bought the 1st book so here is an adjusted price. But NO they charged me for it all over again.

I've been a fan of the Brad Thor books and decided to go back and read the series from the beginning. I'm sure you'll enjoy these three books as much as I have. I'm going to buy the next three in the series shortly. The collectors' edition is great, high quality and the box is a great way to keep the collection together. If you like Brad Thor, you'll enjoy the first three books in his series!

This series was recommended by a friend. I'm glad I bought the Collectors' Edition with the first 3 novels or I might have never read past the first. One always has to put some criticism aside when one reads about a "super agent" type of character, but in the first novel the bad guys were SO bad at being able to stop him that it got ridiculous! Thankfully, it got better. If possible I would have given the set 3.5, but certainly not a 4. Bottom line: I'm buying the next set so how bad could they be?

I am a fan of Tom Clancy especially Jack Ryan series and it was difficult to find something as captivating as Jack Ryan. But Scot Harvath is not bad at all to the contrary. What a team it could be if Brad Thor & Tom Clancy could write a book together with both Jack Sr, Jack Jr, Scot Harvath & Clark & Ding. My husband loves these books. He was a late bloomer when it comes to reading books for pleasure. Once he has started, he has picked the types of books that he loves. This is one of the authors and book series that he really loves. I can highly recommend these.

Main character can be a little arrogant at times but he grows on you.

Good action novel.
