Picture quality is just a little imperfect, but that could be software or the video source. My smart TV didn't support VP9 as found on YouTube so that drove me to buy this add-on to overcome. I haven't used this with a Google account yet or downloaded any other software. I think doing that might help the video, but it isn't bad really. Don't lose the remote though, it has the home key and other stuff you'll want.As it stands, it's slightly difficult to add a microSD card and use it. You have to know a little about Linux-type file systems, but only a little. The box should be powered up and on the home screen when you insert the microSD. When you do insert it the box will display the settings for "Storage & reset". I generally skip out of there once I know the box recognizes the card. I use Root Explorer to back through parent directories until "mnt" is seen in the directory tree. From there, go into "media_rw" and you should find an entry with four alphanumeric characters, a dash, and then four alphanumeric characters again like; "d470-101b". Click on it, it is your microSD. If there is an error it probably means that you'll have to format the microSD before you can use it. You'll probably (usually) only want to format the microSD so that it can be shared with other devices unless you are only using it to enhance the storage limits of the box.I write reviews to get your "Helpful" votes. This box is very fast and easy to program it doesn't come with a lot of useless garbage on it i have bought a lot of boxes over the last 3 years and I would date this one in the top 5%

The box worked for about three weeks Ok, then would start freezing and rebooting approximately every two minutes, rendering it useless. Getting hold of Haifen for help with a warranty claim proved fruitless, but fortunately AMAZON stepped in and issued a refund. Great service as usual by AMAZON.Stay away from this piece of junk and heed the 1 STAR reviews.

This box is really responsive to remote loads very fast and playback seems fine for most items but some apps will install but crashes or wont load at times. It can't play some video because box is not certified by google play and this make it a bummer if you next it to play certain things .

Awesome box! No problems, lock ups or overheating like I’ve had with other boxes, very fast and comes loaded wjustenough great apps to get you started!

The device is hanging within 3 minutes of powering.I could try only 4 days back as I was out of home.After 3 minutes, welcome screen starts again and hangs after 2-3 repetition of welcome screen.I will try again after a week as I left home again, if not I need to return the deviceCouldn't find any technical support contact in manual.

Not got to use it, not user friendly had to return it. Five stars for quick refund.
