Steady going
I purchased the TechWare Pro Knee Compression Sleeve - Knee Braces, as replacements for my old, drug-store variety braces that I bought several years ago. I'm 75 years old, very much overweight, and still like to do my own yard work and gardening. Since I live in West Virginia, it's easy to understand how the uneven ground here, makes it hard on my knees to traverse these hillsides to get my lawn work and gardening done. I purchased these braces because they looked like they could be a vast improvement over my old ones. They proved to be exactly that! They are comfortable and easy to put on while fitting snugly around my legs. The added patella supports and the side braces, make mowing and gardening easier than before. As I was putting the braces on earlier this week, my postman brought me a package, and since he was wearing shorts, I could see that he too was wearing the TechWare Pro knee braces. We agreed that these make a considerable difference in how we feel at the end of a busy day. After a week of owning the knee braces, I purchased a pair of TechWare Pro ankle braces as well. Again, I wasn't disappointed. They are extremely firm, supporting my arthritic ankles and heels. Exactly what I needed.

Allows me to continue hiking, even on moutain trails
I've been wearing external knee braces for years while hiking, the kind which rap around your knee with Velcro, over pants. These worked pretty well but were cumbersome. The TechWare sleeve fits directly on the knee; it does not slide downward as my old braces--I was always having to pull them up on the hike. At first I wasn't sure they would work. There was some pain, I think muscle, over the knee itself, and afterwards, sleeve removed, my knee felt delicate into the next day. But repeated use, every three alternating days of the week, have removed the while wearing over the knee pain and nearly all feeling of delicacy. They are an improvement over the wrap around brace. At 62, it is clear that at some point one knee will force a stop hiking, but these braces are delaying that decision. They are a bit difficult to get off, but one can manage. The major improvement over my old braces is that those slipped as I hiked, especially as the Velcro aged. Worth trying and about the same price as the Velcro kind. I reduced to four stars on comfort for the simple reason that any knee brace is going to reduce mobility. But without doubt my knees feel stronger with these braces.

brace moves a bit with rigorous training
I mainly wear this brace for added support when I go to jiu jitsu. Its decent, I like the feel of it when I first put it on, my knee feels well protected and the gel ring is awesome. there are a couple of thing I dont like though. I bought a large based on the sizing chart and it does fit well, at first. Once the fabric gets warmed up from the activity it seems to stretch a little bit and starts to slide down. The silicone around it slows the brace drifting down a little and I need to readjust it between rounds. By the end of class the brace usually sits about 3-5 inches lower than where it should be. I cant help but feel maybe a little more silicone would hold hold it in place a bit better. Other than that I like the brace. I'm considering maybe getting another one a size smaller

Arthritic knee comfort
Very comfortable . I've only broken 2 nails putting it on. Seems to be true to size. Love it. Played 9 holes of golf today with no problem.

It works!
I just put it on & instant stability! Unlike other knee braces. It feels like it moves with my leg, letting me bend it pain free!

Slips sometimes.
Good, but it slides down often.

No More Knee Pain!
*I did NOT receive any kind of discount on this sleeve I have had occasional aches and stiffness in my left knee for 14 years. It's never been bad enough to need a compression sleeve or brace on a regular basis. This past summer, I twisted my knee while working out and felt a pop! (Got it checked out by my family doctor. It's a sprain). I had a hard time with it for awhile. Then I slowly got better. It recently started hurting again, and feeling somewhat unstable at the back of my knee (site of injury). I had an Ace compression sleeve, but it wasn't enough support to keep my knee from hurting, especially when working 12-13 hour days in the hospital. I decided to check Amazon for a new brace. When I came across the Tech Ware Pro Knee Compression Sleeve, I was quite interested in trying it, especially after reading the reviews. I measured my knee and ordered the large. I've been wearing it, mostly while working, for just over a week. Holy cow! This is the best compression sleeve ever! It supports and prevents my knee pain; it's breathable and doesn't slip! My thigh is a little large, so it digs a little after wearing it all day. But I can roll the top down some and it still doesn't slip! After wearing it while working for several days in a row, my pain is better even when I'm not wearing the sleeve! It's even better than the big brace with the hinge/ springs on the outside, and I can wear it under my pants. It's breathable, so it won't make you hot like a brace or sleeve made of a different material would. I would definitely recommend this compression sleeve to anyone who has knee pain and needs a little extra support.

Blessing!
Strained my knee during the winter. It got soo bad I couldnโt walk without it collapsing under me. When I saw this. I figured why not. Best money Iโve spent. Fits snugly. Provides me with stability and pain relief while walking. Wonโt go anywhere without it. Doctor thought it was a good idea I bought it. Cheaper than ordering one for $$$$$$. Mind you. For me itโs great. Do receive doctor instructions if someone is suffering any mobility issues. This works for me but not others. Everyoneโs issues are different.

Worried that after a week the support inside the material is close to tearing out the side already
Good price not sure they are very rugged - 1 week normal use 4-5 times for a few hrs and itโs ready to tear.
