12" x 17" x 6" Deep Rectangular Extension Box Green Box-Green Lid - Replaces Carson 1419-6X - Engraved: Irrigation Control Valve

I saw no reviews on how this installs. I was thinking to much into it.I dug out around the first box, and removed the lid. This extension just fits over the original box. I felt it should have latched to it some how. But this design is simple. After setting it on I put the dirt I dug out back around it. I'll probably get more dirt later and raise the ground around it, so I can mow over. My whole reason was to fix the constant puddle that would sit in the low area.

I was told by an expert to use these instead of the full size control box so I didn't have to dig such a deep hole and I'm glad I did

The product was exactly what I needed for my irrigation system. The reason I could not use it was because it took to long to be delivered. I am now in the process of returning it.

Well made. Much more solid than the one I broke.
