Great product
These worked great and the tube they came in is very handy for storing them! Would order these again in a heartbeat.

EXCELLENT for sensitive horses!
The media could not be loaded. Sometimes you have a bombproof horse that doesn’t twitch a muscle during a hurricane. Other times you have a horse who jumps out of their skin at the slightest noise. Either way, during training or an emergency is not the time to discover which horse yours is that day.I use these for trailering, showing, trimming, clipping, bathing, or really anything loud. Reducing sensory input can allow your horse to experience whatever you’re asking them without additional fear stimulus. Ex: my horse isn’t scared of the trailer itself, he hates the NOISES it makes. Problem solved. If you’re worried your horse might shake them out simply out on a fly mask with ears or bonnet & halter.

Work great - pricey though
These are fairly easy to put in, stay in well pretty well. and seem to effectively block loud and potentially startling noises. The only downside is that they cost more than I think they should (especially since I'm always losing mine and having to replace them...) They are just little foam balls - I cannot imagine their production cost is anywhere near the $10 to $15 I always pay for them! ALso, it would be great if they included a third plug, since they get lost easily. The plastic tube they come in is also unnecessary and bad for the environment but maybe that ups the costs; I'd prefer a little paper bag or small cardboard box. That's me though - overall, these work well.

Horse LOVES them
I read about race horses using ear plugs so I figured why not try them for my daughter’s OTTB gelding? He’s not spooky at all but he loves his bonnets and with summer coming he needed something to muffle the audible surrounding chaos that won’t cause him to sweat. At first he wasn’t so sure what we were doing and we took them out after a couple minutes. 5 minutes later we tried again and he immediately lowered his head for us to put them in. Then, his eyes drooped and his lip quivered and this big ol boy just melted. We actually felt bad when we had to take them back out. He LOVES them. I am so glad I bought these. He didn’t necessarily need them - but he’s happy and that was the goal. The only downside is they’re kinda pricey when you consider that identical foam cat toy balls are only a few bucks for a bunch.
