I've ordered the bamboo mats to improve the appearance of my 1940 wood floors. They are beautiful and do the job.One of the 3 mats' finish os rough, scuffed and no shine. The only thing I can think? The mat was rolled for shipping prior to its varnish/lacquer being cured/dry.I'm late in placing my complaint because we've moved my 90-yr old mum in with us from out of state. Between transporting her in rented motorhome, arranging for household move via Mayflower and getting her safely acclimated--I'm only now asking for the one mat to be replaced.

The color is not espresso. There is a tint of red to it. It is more like cherrywood. Great other than that.

I love this mat!!! I use it in front of our shower. It’s a bit longer than the tub, so there’s plenty of space to stand on. If you’re like me and don’t like the gross feeling of wet fabric under your feet, this is perfect! The ridges are spaced close enough together that it doesn’t hurt to stand on, and the wood itself doesn’t get very slippery. All you need to do to clean is sweep, which is very easy. It’s a very rich color too! The edges aren’t mind blowing, but they look like they’ll hold up for a while.
