Bath Accessories Company Natural Wood Wooden Dressing Comb

I just got tired of plastic combs and decided to try a wooden one. I gave it 4 stars because I'm sure there are nicer ones out there but for the money this one is very nice. No sharp edges, feels big enough but not too big and has the two sizes of teeth. It looks natural, feels great on the scalp, doesn't tug but glides right through your hair like butter. I'll don't think I'll ever get tired of it but then I just like wood and natural looking things. It reduces static. I'm not sure about cleaning yet. The teeth will never look like they are folded over and warped like the plastic combs do after a while. I tried to tease my hair alittle with it and it isn't great for that but really smoothes the hair.

After reading enough articles on how beneficial wooden combs were to plastic combs I decided to buy one and check it out. There are lots of wooded combs offered here on Amazon with a pretty wide price range--but I didn't want to spend much so I opted for this comb at the very affordable $2.95. The comb arrived promptly from Smallflower and I was very impressed with the quality and how solid it felt. The packaging for the comb itself was even upscale!After a few weeks of use I am very pleased with this comb--it feels like a handmade piece and works as expected. Don't believe you have to drop $20+ bucks for a high quality wooden comb. I will be shopping with Smallfower again!

If you're willing to put in a few minutes to finish these combs, they are quite good for $2.75. I sanded the insides of the teeth lightly with fine sandpaper and then rubbed the comb down with castor/grapeseed oil to finish and moisturize the wood. I think this comb should last me quite a long time and be quite gentle to my hair.

I threw out my other combs, this one works very well and is a pretty cool looking thing to have laying around instead of a light blue plastic stupid looking thing. This is significantly cheaper than other similar products and very sturdy feeling witch was about the only concern I had when ordering.

Does great, just didn't realize how big it actually is. Not something for a guy to keep in his pocket.

This comb is the perfect solution for my static problem. It's unfinished wood, so just treat it with some mineral oil if you plan to use on wet hair.I love it!

I really like this comb.

Very nice comb. Does not pull hair or cause breakage and is completely staic free. I like using it on both wet and dry hair.
