Review: A well made camp knife for the money - The reamer R315 is a well made knife for the money. I am 6ft 1 with long fingers and the handle fits well in the my hands. The the knife blade out of the box was very sharp and it didn't even need any additional sharpening. The knife case fits the knife well and it's made with good quality leather and it even comes with a dangler. What more can you ask for. I did not get to use the Knife yet. But I do own many knives. For the price and for what you would be receiving. You couldn't ask for a better quality knife for the value and I do believe it would make a very good camp knife for many years to come. By the way if you happen to have any doubts in the purchasing of the knife. To help you understand the quality of the knife I would compare it with the upper end Mora knives that comes with a beautiful leather case that is well made. I hope I was of some help. Trust me it's an excellent knife for what you would be receiving , even to the knife case. It's aquality made and I really do believe you would be happy with it.

This makes for a great camp knife, or one you can use around your property. The built in dangler on the sheath helps with it's overall comfortable wear for daily use. I don't have anything against spending money on "high end" brands, but why waste your money when more affordable options like the R315 are available...

**Q: What material is the sheath made of**
A: It is a black injection-molded plastic (not kydex) sheath and it comes with an attachment that has 2 nylon belt loops with snaps. You could remove this attachment easily and use other hardware such as a tek-lok if you prefer.

**Q: How thick is blade?  3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm??**
A: It's 5mm

**Q: What steel is it?**
A: 9Cr18Mov - actually a pretty decent blade steel.  It's a slight upgrade from 8Cr13Mov, which Spyderco and Kershaw use on a lot of their imported knives.

**Q: Does a sheath come with this knife?**
A: Yes, comes with a very nice black leather sheath, with retaining snap and belt dangler.  Comfortable and good looking setup.
