Kelvin Heated Jacket for Women - 8Hr Battery, 5 Heat Zones for Best Womens Parka

This is the first heated coat I have ever bought. I waited a couple of weeks to write a review, as when I received the coat, it wasn't exactly "coat" weather yet. Since then, there have been days that have gone down to 5 degrees, so I can give an accurate review of the coat thus far. I love that this has a detachable hood firstly. I really like the way the hood looks, but it is pretty big! I know that when I start using it I will have to wear a beanie or hat under it to help keep it up. I may also attach some sort of button or clip on it to hold it up. I have not used the hood with the coat so far. The jacket has a very nice length which comes down to my knees. I am 5' 2". I typically wear a size small, and made sure to measure myself before purchasing. I could have fit into the small, but went with a medium to ensure that if I were to bundle up, that the coat would still fit fine. Since I bought a size up, when I don't bundle up, the coat isn't as flattering in the back. By that I mean that it doesn't "conform" to my body, but I am not saying that this coat doesn't look great on. It just will not conform to your curves. The heating coils work nicely. I always feel the one on my back more than the ones in the front. I made sure that the ones in the front work, as I was concerned maybe they did not. They did heat up, but it was not as intense as on the back. All in all the heating aspect of the coat is great. It heats up quickly and maintains the heat for a bit once turned off. The battery is nice. It holds a charge for a nice amount of time. From my usage, I'd say that their statement about heating times is 100% accurate. Depending on how high the temperature is set, you will have a certain amount of time before the battery will die. Now I have not used the battery for charging anything, but the battery does have 2 USB outputs so you can indeed heat your coat and charge your phone. My only concern with the battery isn't exactly the batteries fault persay. On the inside of the coat is a pocket to hold the battery. The pocket is closer to the bottom of the coat, since there are heating elements in the chest area. Because the coat is long, it can be annoying when getting into a car, as the battery makes it hard to sit without it digging into my leg. The flaw is in the pocket for the coat. If it were wider, the battery could sit more horizontally, rather than vertically. When I position the battery horizontally in the pocket, (NOTE: cannot do this when it's plugged into the coat) I can sit easily and not feel the battery. This is the only flaw I have encountered so far with the coat. It's really not a big deal to be honest, as I typically unzip my coat in the car anyway. Just thought I should point this out. As far as the coat being a coat when not using the heating element, I have to say that it is superb! The down material is super cozy and warm. On days or nights when it has been in the teens, I haven't even had to use the heated feature of this coat. When it is windy I do use the battery on low to take that edge off. I was concerned that my arms would get cold, but this coat does a very good job at keeping me warm. While my fiance is shivering in his regular coat and stating "It's pretty cold out here", I am pretty comfortable. My fiance doesn't get as cold as I always do, so it's nice to see the shoe on the other foot.So to basically sum up my review, I feel that the coat was 100% worth the price! The heating works well using the battery and is warm just using the coat, the length is great, and I love that it's stylish looking to boot. The only tiny flaws are that the hood is huge and I can see that if a gust of wind comes it will most defintely not stay up and that the battery pocket isn't designed with comfort in mind. Of course I cannot stress enough that these two flaws make this a bad coat. I am very very happy with this purchase and cannot wait to be able to actually have a warm winter.

Love this coat! It is very stylish & flattering. It runs a little small...though I am tall... I am 5'9 & 135 lbs. & I ordered a small but I think the medium might have been too big. It is super warm even without the heat on. With the heat on it is super warm even though it doesn't heat up the arms it is still warm because it is so thick. The only cons are that I have long arms & it's just barely long enough on the arms. Also a con is even though the hood is super cute it is huge...makes you look like an Eskimo but I think will look fine once the weather is unbearable:)

This jacket is even better than I expected. I love the soft silky fabric on the inside of the coat. The construction feels high quality. The inside fill is warm, even without using the heating mechanism. The hood is large, but that's not really a bad thing. I like the almost violet hue of the fur on the hood, it's pretty. I was also happy and surprised to see that the hood can be detached via a zipper if I want. The fit is as expected. I normally wear a size small in coats and it fits as such. It's maybe a tad bit more snug in the hips compared to other brands, but not too small. I like the angle of the side pockets. The coat is not really fitted at the waist, but I think the pockets add a touch of style.

The heating element throughout the body heats up extremely quickly and lasts a fairly long time. The coat is actually very warm by itself also. The hood is so oversized that it's nice as long as there is no wind, but as soon as there is a gust, it's off because there is no way to tie it closed.

Very warm coat even without using the heat technology. I find myself walking the freezing streets of the Bronx, N.Y. with a tee shirt only underneath my coat, or with it open at times.The only 2 things are it needs upper pockets for your hands and a better place to but the battery. Right at the hip can be uncomfortable.

The coat it self is great, how long it will last we will see. There is threads everywhere that are hanging off of it. The battery has 4 bars but it will only charge to two bars. When I tried to charge my cell phone the battery got really hot. The button to turn the coat on is kind of funky too. I got this coat for Christmas, I have used it every day and so far I love it. Im not sure about the battery. I will be calling them on this and the treads hanging off it every where too. It just seems like its unfinished with the threads uncut hanging off everywhere.

I love this jacket. The only thing I wish is that the heat source lasted a little longer. But it is cozy and the hood really warms the head.

Bought this for the wife. She loves it. She gets cold and miserable, this HELPS!!! I’m happier now too.
