If you have a Toyota truck you need this!
This is a must have for a Toyota truck owner who is pulling a trailer. Toyota trucks connection is over a foot farther than that of a Ford, Dodge or GM truck. I found out the hard way when I went to hook up my new boat trailer. This is a must have extension and it will save your rear end and make life easy.

Perfect remedy
Easy install and perfect fit. Gave us the extra length for making turns with the trailer.

Works with extended reciever hitch
Puchased to bridge the gap caused by the extended hitch I need to use when towing my trailer behind my truck with a large camper on it. Male end into my bumper mounted 7-way and female end into my trailer's 7-way. I tie it loosely to the extended hitch to keep the extra length from dragging. Easier to buy this pigtail extension, than buy parts and make one up myself.

Works great for truck camper
Worked great to plug my Lance camper into my existing 5th wheel 7 pin in the bed of my truck allowing me to not have me drill another hole in the bed.

Good Price & Seems of Quality
Had to request a 2nd one to be shipped to me but they did it and quickly. 1st one might have had a loose connector or something but it would not allow blinker on one side of trailer to work.

Quick solution
Unfortunately, like many Amazon purchases, this was the second one I purchased to extend my short trailer cord and quickly resolve that issue saving me much effort to rewire. This one worked, unlike the first one I purchased from another supplier at Amazon that stopped working after a short time thus a total waste of time and money. I enjoy the ease of making a purchase on Amazon and the free shipping but find that I am doing this with many products purchased costing me double the initial pricing. So I making these comments to tell you that this is a decent product unlike so many others listed for the same or similar pricing that may not work.

Recommend this product
It is a much sturdier piece than the one we had from the hitch manufacturer. It’s a good length so that there is a bit of slack. Haven’t been on the road with it but look forward to doing so and having a steady connection.

Possible short in cable
The length was great for what I needed however the cord seemed to have some form of short in it. When used with my Curt Echo Wireless brake controller the trailer brakes would pulse even when I didn’t press the vehicle brake pedal
