Pros:-* Design / Form factor, it is compact, flat and easy to carry around* Portable speaker.* Bluetooth range - even thru the walls the range seems to be good. - I tried range of about 25 feet thru the walls it did not choke and uninterrupted music played.* Micro USB charging (don't have to carry another cable, when travelling).* Sound was good in a smaller rooms only* Very easy bluetooth pairing.* I was able to pair to the computer, tablet and smart phones.Cons:-* Even though the Speaker has microphone and phone option, people on the other end couldn't hear me -- (I was literally holding the unit over my lips)* I was able to hear the other person over speaker, but what ever I spoke was not audible to receiver.* Battery charging time, it took me about 7 hours for full charge.* No charger came with the unit, however I could use the regular micro usb cable and charger that came with my smart phone.*.The back of the unit has some kind of gel material and it is a magnet to dust. -- without realizing I put it on a table not cleaned properly, now I could never get the dirt off.* The big reason I bought this was for design and Bass sound. -- Design I am very happy. -- Bass effect very disappointed. -- I tried in various combinations of surface to identify good bass effects. - Tiled floors -- Good - Wooden tables -- Very Bad - Counter top -- Bad - Laminated table -- Good - Sink tops -- Good. - Plastic bench -- Bad - A hallow plastic box - Very good (but then other sound frequencies were terrible).Over all the product build quality appears good, but for the price I paid the effects or output did not justify. When I used in a smaller room (like Study room) over the plastic bin, it appears a good effect. This might be a good speaker for college kids for dorm room.However, if you're looking for some quality (not comparing with a home theater effect, but similar portable bluetooth speakers), it doesn't meet the level and below par.I am comparing based on a bluetooth speaker that sells around $40 (round form factor and resonates the surface).So far Battery life seems to be good, even though it took me 7 hours for charge (may be first few times it needs to reset). I have been getting about 9 hours and then I have to charge again. (Not sure why the description says 10 hours of play with 30 minutes charge).Customer support from the product reached to me and offered for a replacement, unfortunately the process was to return and reorder in amazon or mail it to them using my shipping. Decided to return and it is going to go back to Amazon. I am happy with Amazon because of their great customer support.

I asolutely love this speaker. I used to have another induction speaker that had a smaller contact patch, and while it worked, the quality of the bass response was lacking. This unit is about 3in x 4.5in x 3/4in thick. The contact patch is the entire back surface of the unit. The gel patch on the back of the unit has enough tack that it can support its weight on a vertical surface, but not sticky enough to damage delicate surfaces. The gel patch is easily cleaned with a damp lint-free cloth, it just wipes away dust and cat hair (which we have a lot of in our house!). My favorite use for this speaker is attaching it to a segmented window in a door. The lack of secondary vibration makes it perfect for amplifying the sound and isolating the bass track. My second favorite use is laying it on the top surface a round glass dining table that we have. The controls are easy to use - one physical button on the right lower side for power/bluetooth connection, and two touch sensitive buttons in the lower left and right corners of the top surface for volume. These are sensitive and responsive. The external connections are for power (microUSB) and auxilary input (1/8in stereo plug) and are located on the bottom side surface of the unit. It is made of shiny black ABS plastic, weighs around a half pound or less, fells/looks well made and solid. I would highly recommend this speaker to anyone in the market for an induction speaker.

Great value, good sound, but the best feature is the addition of Bluetooth. This wowee is great for travel. It takes up minimal space, yet provides deep sound that varies depending on the surface. It also makes a great speaker phone. The battery life seems to be good.I loved the original Wowee, but always was limited by the cord. Two thumbs up!

I was totally astounded with this speaker that charges it's self while in use. All necessary cables came with it, even a usb cable. I played around with it some and tried placing it on my windshield. The difference was shocking. Sounds like a giant speaker and the bass is out of this world. I quickly discovered the necessity of also purchasing the WOWeeone Hug. A must have to use and attach the speaker to the windshield. You'll love it.

My husband and I already own one of these. My son in-law has wanted it for some time, so we surprised him with one for his birthday. The WOWee is small, but it puts out great clear sound. The key is to set it on a hollow surface if you want to really hear it pick up the bass. I like that it is also small enough to carry in my laptop bag or purse.

It produces a great sound on a variety of surfaces. I have the earlier version as well, but the addition of Bluetooth and the ability of using it for telephone conferences makes it a winner!

I have an original WOWee and I've enjoyed it for years, so I had to have one with Bluetooth, I was concerned it wouldn't be as good as my old one but it is. Want to hear something fascinating, place it on a guitar while playing, it'll blow your mind!

Its alot of fun, so much speaker and for bieng smaller than a cell phone! best booster i have ever usedI even use in on my my computer during movie replay!
