Great replacement clips
I was a little worried these clips wouldn’t work for my hot tub cover but they are perfect. I’ve had them in for about 4 months and have not had any issues.

Perfect fit
These were perfect fit and easy to install. I have a bullfrog that the cold weather broke the clips. This took all of five minutes to install each..very happy

Perfect fit for Bullfrog spa cover
I think the original spa cover locks are designed to break. These seem a bit sturdier, so I'm hoping they'll last longer than 3 months. While comparable in price to ordering directly from Bullfrog (with better shipping prices) they still seem a bit spendy for a few hunks of plastic. Like others recommended, I did fire up the Dremel and notch the 1/8" space for the strap to slide through. Total install time for two of these - less than 5 minutes. Well, once I dug the Dremel out of the back of the tool building and found an appropriately sized screwdriver to change over to the cutting disc.

Worked fine with a few issues
The holsters for the snaps require three screws each. The set of parts only came with eight screws so save your old screws plus any other parts that are salvageable for future use. Plastic parts don't last long under extreme heat and cold conditions. The snap on prongs that attach to the strap are a pain to install. You can remove all of the stitching to insert the strap thru the slot on the prongs and resew them but I would not recommend this. I cut a diagonal opening a little off center on the top part of the slot to slide the strap loop into. This of course weakens the slot but I slopped some super glue on it when I was done. I used a hack saw to make the cut because this leaves a wider opening to slide the strap thru. I used needle nose pliers to spread the opening apart and to pull the strap into the slot. I suppose they have to be installed this way or the locking feature wouldn't work. It was cheaper than buying a new cover for four hundred bucks!

Hot tub cover locks - works great, perfect fit for my cover.
My hot tub cover locks that were supplied with the cover and pre-installed are very similar to these locks, only one of the ones supplied with the cover did not lock. With a wire cutter, I cut off the old lock and put a notch in one of these, about 1/4" and ran the leather loop through the new lock and it locked great. Now the cover is secured, in these high, cold winds we are having here lately in Wisconsin, it's nice to have the cover secured.

Cut them to fit
These are the exact type of latch I have on my hot tub. In order to get them on, you have to cut a small section out of the top and slide the strap in through the slot. Works perfect!
