Great for trigger point massaging
The shape of these stones are perfect for applying pressure and heat to sore occipital and neck muscles. Might be too small for a man's hands so it would've been nice if they were a little bigger. Also if bigger might retain heat more? Good there are two because you can keep one hot while using the other one. Retains its heat pretty well. I like this a whole lot better than heated pillows, etc because you can also dig into that sore muscle and massage with the bonus of heat. Feels wonderful!

Good stones for trigger point (or Shiatsu point) work.
Small, but well-sized for trigger point work. I can hold one end in my hand while using the exposed end to work, for instance, one side of the occiput; then flip the stone to work the other side of the occiput (so that the newly exposed end will be warmer, having been insulated by my hand). These are smooth, and hold heat well enough, considering that their overall mass is not that of a "regular" hot stone.

Umm okay...
I don't understand the low reviews this company gets. This is my second order from them and it's excellent. Lol maybe some people need to learn about hot/cold stone massage before they go wasting money on amazon.com

Not what I expected...
I do not recommend this stones for massage. They are quite small. I bough them because it says they were 3 to 4 inches in size, but they are smaller than what I expected. Massage stones are circular shape, and when vendors say 3 inches they tend to refer to the actual diameter of the circumference. This stones are not rounded, they have one narrow side. It is not the shape you want for a massage stone.

Very SMALL stones
These stones are much smaller than I expected and are not worth what they cost. If I had wanted floral arrangement rocks I could have purchased a large container filled with rocks the same size at the craft store for what I paid for these two. Disappointed.
