I have two already and I'm about to get a third.1. Put a few small lead weights in there to weigh it down2. When you look at some of the rope attachments, you might want to burn the ends, so they don't unravel2. Get a green or white light (or maybe even a glowstick) and put it through the middle access hole3. Enjoy all the baitfish you will catch. The light is like crack to baitfish.I have baited with dog food in panty hose and it's just not as quick or as effective as a light. What makes this trap so good is that middle hole which give you access to the bait as well as suspending food or light with it.I have had my trap in the water for days and it has slightly rusted, but it works absolutely fine. Best trap hands down.

I trap quite a bit using 2 others styles of traps . I use 2 old glass raps , and have 2 metal traps ( walmart cheapo's) I set all 6 twice the past 2 days , catching minnows for my pond to feed my bass . So this cloth net is decent , its very hard to use IMO , if you dont hang it from a limb or something directly overhead the net collaspes . And the holes seem large where small minnows can actually escape quite easily , I'm gonna have the wife sew the holes closed a bit tighter . And it works best with a large rock in the bottom to hold it down . I think I'd try something else next time

It works but you have to put something in it to make the bottom sink and the top float or else it will just flag flat. Now having said that I used it in a pond that was pretty shallow so I had to put a rock in it and an empty Gatorade bottle in it to hold it in the unfolded position. It worked great I caught tons of fish and for the price I paid it worked really well.

The media could not be loaded. This net was not designed to stay open when placed in the water preventing anything from actually entering the net. This net is a FAIL! There are much better options out there people.

It won’t stay open. I’m not impressed and even with weights it’s subpar.

Recieved quickly and in good packaging. Its in 2 different storage bags which is nice. Sturdy built, good materials, i believe it will net me a bunch of fish. Your not gonna catch monsters in this but lots of pan fish and maybe some a little larger

So far I have used the trap once. I bought this one and the old standard trap that looks like two waste baskets that you latch together. I put out both traps in the same area, baited and waited. When I went back the old style trap was empty but this one had about 3 dozen minnows which was more then enough for me to start with. I moved both traps around all day and had the same results all day. The quality looks like it will hold up much longer then it should for the price. The bonus is that it takes up less space when not in use which is a definite plus. Just go for it!

shipping was fast, but it doesn't work. the cage float up. Even put heavy stuff in the cage, once comes a big wave, the cage turn upside down. This has happened last night. Not recommend.
