Make your Dremel tool much more versatile with this reciprocating hand piece attachment. This reciprocating hand piece is the same as the one we offer for the Foredom tool but it has an attached shaft and collet to fit either the Dremel rotary tools. It comes with 5 chisels and a wrench and it will accept all of the reciprocating gouges from Flexcut. Will work with most Dremel tools that fit the flexible shaft offered by Dremel (flexshaft model 225-01).

Watch Out
This is the Wecheer Flexible Shaft Carving Tool (WE 272).Contrary to the advertisement's description, this device will NOT accept all of the Flexcut blades. It only accepts small fine-detail blades. None of the 16 blades in the Flexcut Carving Starter Set fit into this carving tool without an unadvertised, extra-cost adapter.I finally found the Flexcut SK109 Univeral Adapter listed in the back of the owner's documentation for the nice Flexcut Starter Carving Set. The SK109 costs almost half the price of this reciprocating power carver. After hesitating for quite a while, I bought the SK109 and found it to be very overpriced for what it is. It also makes the final cost of the power carver quite a bit higher if you plan to use it with regular-size blades. With the SK109 attached, the blades are far enough out to make carving clumsy. Perhaps with a careful learning curve it could work OK but I decided it wasn't worth the effort.I didn't try to return it because of having used it and the long lapse of time. I instead got the Foredom rotary carver, which is more expensive but works great. You get what you pay for.

there's no info, the thing can't operate for long without leaking black crap onto your wood.
it's loud, rattles, and the bits provided work but not well. i still use it sometimes though. it's not romantic wood carving that's for sure. and it's not good for your arthritic hands. i don't know who's getting paid to say that stuff.i use it with a cheap 'greatneck' rotary tool and also a nicer Milwaukee cordless that allows me to set the rotary tool on something behind me to keep the cord as straight as possible. i'm not sure if i'd buy another. it works and has some uses but borderlines on an infomercial gimmick that you think will get you carving more or dramatically improve your life....but alas, it doesn't.

A good addition to my wood working tool set
I like using this with my rotary drill. Sometimes it's just nice to be able to chisel out chunks of wood and this does the trick for me. There isn't any vibration in the hand piece and is very easy to maneuver. I like how it doesn't start chiseling the wood until you put pressure on the end of the chisel blade. It was a good addition to my wood working tool set.

A bit light-duty but what I expecte
I am running this with a Black & Decker RTX power unit and it all works as expected. It is a bit underpowered but seems about the same as a Proxon complete hand-held unit. I need it for carving mandolin tops and backs and it works well for that. The tools that come with it are adequate but I also bought a Flexcut spoon bit and it drives that much more easily. Flexcut bits are strongly recommended. For what it is designed for it is excellent but I didn't give it 5-stars because the vibration at the handpiece is a bit higher than I like, a bit more mass would probably improve the feel a good bit.

There is no doubt that if this tool broke, I would not hesitate to buy another. This is exactly what I have been looking for and well worth the money. Only one little flaw, when it gets warm it drips grease. but not constantly.

Arrived on time and in good order, this has saved me a lot on hand carving time. A fairly powerful tool to be driven by a small rotary tool!!!

I was talked into the Wecheer instead of another brand. Boy am I glad! Works just the way you'd hope with no fuss or drama. Many hours of use on it now with no sign of wear. Great product.
