I've been very pleased with the SwitchBot CO₂ Monitor. The setup was quick and straightforward using the SwitchBot app, and it connected without any problems. Within a few minutes it was up and running and providing readings. The display is bright, clear and easy to read from across the room. As well as CO₂ levels, it also shows temperature and humidity, making it a useful all-in-one environmental monitor. I particularly like the colour-coded air quality indicator, which makes it easy to see at a glance when the room needs more ventilation. In day-to-day use it has been reliable and responsive. The CO₂ readings change quickly when people enter the room or when a window is opened, giving me confidence that the sensor is doing its job. Battery life has also been very good so far. Overall, it's a well-designed monitor that's easy to set up, accurate enough for home use, and has become a useful reminder to improve ventilation when needed. I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and dependable CO₂ monitor.

Pros: - does what it says on the tin - two units agree fairly well on readings, so it's probably reasonably accurate - with a hub, the device can also display outdoor weather (either from the web or an outdoor sensor) [photo: screen showing outdoor weather] - has wall mount screw hole and integrated desk stand - supports (alkaline) batteries and USB power; unlike a rechargeable battery, leaving it plugged in won't do long-term damage - supports Matter and other open protocols, so you're not locked into a proprietary app - supports MM/DD date order and 24h time - emits no light, so won't interfere with sleep - configuration is fairly flexible Shortcomings: - no backlight - the USB cable port at the back leaves a very short space for the cable; more than a few perfectly good cables won't fit; the cable it comes with is fine if you have a USB A adapter not too far away [photo: the cable doesn't fit] - temperature reading is slightly elevated when CO₂ readings are set to every minute (by about 0.5°C/1°F), but the app does warn you about this - can't view readings history unless the device is nearby - one or two minor points of friction in more detailed settings, for example, a slider that's too sensitive to set what you consider a comfortable temperature range - if you want the device to beep when temperature/humidity/CO₂ goes out of range, your only option is constant beeping; it would be nice to have one beep every few minutes

Al een tijdje op zoek naar een betrouwbare CO2 meter op batterij, maar ook de mogelijkheid voor aansluiting met snoer. Het geeft een goed beeld over de CO2 waarde in de ruimte, ook kan je snel zien of luchten werkt. Koppeling met de app en andere smarthome integraties zoals homeassistant werkt super!
