MOVEMINT 9ft Heavy Weighted Jump Rope (5LB & 8.5LB Options) w/Protection Sleeve

I use these type of jump ropes at my gym all the time, used the 5 and 8 lbs and never had an issue. However, I just don't seem to be able to use this one. Rope is very stiff and very hard on the wrists. Put it in the washer thinking it might loosen up but it didn't. Just as stiff. Tried different ways to hold it but still unable to do it without feeling I'm hurting my wrists. And yes, I am using it properly, been using them for years. I really wouldn't recommended! Donating to Goodwill. :-(

It’s too stiff for turning. There’s a similar rope on Amazon with red handles. I’d recommend that.

I found that the rope was very well built and hasn’t become worn yet in the few weeks I’ve been using it. It gives an incredible workout. The grips are nice and the coating seems to be tough enough to last. The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is mainly because when I was just getting used to it, it’s bunch up at the top and hit my head. I’d suggest anyone who gets this get the longest one if you are 5’11” if taller be careful.

This heavy rope give you a full body workout. It’s tough to do at the beginning but the more you use it, the better you get at it. I love it!

Been working on my jump rope skills and do really well with 1 inch rope so I wanted to start working on 1.5 inch rope as well, but this rope is so stiff it binds up and hits the back of my head every second jump every time.Thinking of returning, dunno if there is any way of loosening it up...

My brother really enjoys using it. I have tried it as well. If you're up for a challenge this is it! The only thing that worries me about this is that your wrists may hurt after awhile because of the weight of the rope

The weight was awesome but when trying to jump rope it felt unnatural and puts a lot of strain on the wrists
