All three of the cats love it. Still playing with it a week later
All three of the cats love it. Still playing with it a week later; normally they tire of anything new within an hour or two. Being able to refill it is a great idea.

This product rules!
When i lived in Oregon, I got these for my cats, and they still play with them years later. They are packed with catnip, very potent catnip. I've never seen a cat resist one. I just ordered a fresh supply and my cats are very appreciative. Buy this product!

Made my cat a drug addict
I don't know what is in this thing, but holy mother of christ. My male cat tends to be on the dominant side, and typically my poor little female is the victim of his territoriality. After 6 years though, he's pretty well controlled. My friend sent me one of these slugs, and my boy took to it like he'd just been introduced to shrooms for the first time and the dragons and demons started controlling his every move. My previously somewhat overpowering alpha male turned into the Hulk on steroids when this catnip slug was around. I had to keep it hidden on a high shelf and would parse it out in small doses for just a few mins, let him play under close supervision, and would take it away before he overdosed. Well, one day I heard a noise in the kitchen and went to see what was up, and I found that my orange furry Gollum had forced his way into the pantry, climbed the shelves to get the slug, and was running down the basement steps with it. It was then that I knew we had an addict on our hands and this devil's weed needed to get out of my house before I needed to lock up my jewelry. Good luck to those of you have had a good experience with this so far. My only advice is to keep a close eye on the electronics. Should anything come up missing, you may want to check your cats' hiding places for contraband.

Glad I got the adult slug!
They have these in our local pet store -- I was on the lookout for something catnippy for my drug-loving cat to cuddle, and I nearly bought theĀ Organic Catnip Slug - Baby . But when you go shopping with a six-year-old, you often end up with something you didn't intend to get. My son insisted we get the bigger slug (of course -- bigger is always better when you're 6), and I ended up being so glad about it.I thought my catnip-addicted kitty would love it the most, but it was actually her sister who adopted it, and she'd never seemed to be into catnip toys before this one. She immediately began to wrestle the slug into submission -- and honestly played with it the entire night long.My cats are big Maine Coons, and the long size was perfect for "hugging" with both her front and back legs and rolling around with it firmly grasped. So, definitely if you have a bigger cat, I would get the Adult Slug for extra wrassling fun for your kitty. As another plus, the patterns and colors are really fun, and they've got a quaint homemade look to them. If you're going to have a slug decorating your living room floor, might as well be a cute one, right?

My cats LOVE these catnip slugs!!
While in Oregon, I was doing some souvenir shopping for friends and decided that since I was feeling guilty being 2500 miles away from my cats, I should buy a souvenir for them, too. I purchased two large ("adult") catnip slugs from a local retailer. A couple months later, I found myself wishing I had bought more. So, I called the retailer and asked them to ship me more. After my cats had their way with them (and I reluctantly gave a few to friends' cats), I decided to just buy directly from the manufacturer. And now, with all the shopping I already do on Amazon, I am so so thrilled to see that they are now selling them, too!My point is that my cats love these "slugs"-- so much that I have gone to unusual lengths to replenish their supply. They are surprisingly durable and last a good while despite the cats rolling and biting and even kicking at the things!! They are a bargain considering the joy they bring to my kids.Make sure each of your cats has at least one of these. They will love you for it! (If you buy several, just store them in the freezer-- they come in a little bag-- and they will be fresh when you ready to pamper your cat with a new one.)~Jennifer
