The Call Paperback – January 31, 2006

This series is very helpful for understanding today's battles, and the need to get serious or be casualties; so, it's the pain of fighting, or they pain of being mowed down. Many people counseled Rick to make these visions into an allegory, but I appreciate so much that he has chosen to just relay them as faithfully as he could. (Thank you, Rick!) In Joel 2:28, God says that in the last days, he will pour out prophesies, dreams, and visions on us. We have to test them by making sure they align with scripture, and listening to what the Holy Spirit says about them, but we ignore the visions that God gives us at great peril to us and our loved ones. God provides visions in these days because we NEED them. I have found absolutely nothing in these visions that in any way contradicts scripture, but they rather seem to either confirm or open my eyes to what I already knew or sensed, so I find this to be true prophecy which edifies the church. There are so many battles today, and these visions help us by clarifying what is really going on, for the Father of Lies is working overtime, but the Father of Love and His Son are stronger and have already won the war. Praise Christ!

You may read a book and recommend it to others as "the best book I've read for a long time" and out of politeness they read the first two chapters, put it down and not share your same enthusiasm. Maybe it just wasn't the right time for them to read it. But for me reading this trilogy has been a gift from Heaven above.Others may wage in on the theological and doctrinal debates - whether these writings are inspired or misleading. I am personally satisfied with it's consistency and alignment with the scriptures (note: my personal opinion - so not open to debate). Each person must judge for themselves and weigh up from their own understanding of the scriptures and the nature and character of God.As for me - it is one of the most inspired works I have ever encountered. If an angel had descended from heaven and placed the book in my own hands - it wouldn't have added any more to the great encouragement that I have received through reading Rick Joyner's writings. As it turns out the angel delivered the book via Kindle - which works fine for me :-)

Another amazing book that has confirmed so many truths that the Lord has spoken to me. Very difficult to put down and I can’t wait to read the third book. Thank you, Rick Joyner, for your obedience to God!

God is amazing, this is a must read for all Christians. Seriously, I implore and encourage all Christians to read this from the bottom of my Heart. The whole series is just amazing, really no human words can describe the presence of God found in these writings. PRAISE GOD!!!

This book gives insight into what we as Christians are called to do. Reminds us that we must remain humble and seek God at all times. We need to put God first and seek His face. I recommend this book to anyone whom wants to go deeper with God.

This book has helped me grow and understand Jesus more in depth. I read The Final Quest first I recommend reading that book first. But please please read this book. It has blessed my life and given me so much insight. I’ve read the entire bible and I’ve been in church for years even teaching at times, but I feel like I’ve been doing so much of it wrong after reading this book I learned More about Jesus and his true goal for his bride than I ever learned before.

I am in the US Navy, I downloaded this book on kindle before I went on deployment on my ship to the Pacific Ocean. Everyday after a long work day as I retire for sleep I would read as many pages as I can. My life was illuminated the words of Christ, the wisdom, the words of the witnesses Paul and Adam I was blessed beyond measure. Lastly the chapter on worship and the lesson on pride knocked my off my feet. Yes also was quit blessed from the lesson on fear.Thank you so much for putting this down on paper. Enjoyable read

I have no doubt that Rick is one of the Lord’s anointed and this he has been allowed to share with the Church of Jesus Christ to prepare us for what is to come. I pray that His Church leaders will listen to what our Father is saying to the Church - the Bride for whom He gave everything to redeem and bring to Himself. May the Holy Spirit open our eyes and ears to see and hear.

Good book for deep knowledge of God.

For every Christian that has some experience in living with Jesus and community live (I won't recommend it for baby-Christians ;)). It reveals valuable insights of how things work in the spirit. And gives us wisdom and motivation to work there where it is most needed and in the right way.I highly recommend the full trilogyThe Torch and the Sword, The Call, and The Final Quest

The Call whilst written some years ago is a timeless classic.. the many revelations that the vision unfolds are powerful and significant as the bride of Christ is being prepared to walk down the isle... thanks Rick for your faithful recording of this work... a great read.
