Died within 4 months!
Got two of these guys from this seller. They both arrived alive and well. The larger guy had one of his antennas clipped half off but I assume that's from the USPS because the package wasn't marked fragile or from them fighting (2 males). These males do great together and have not been seen fighting. One is larger and dark and one is smaller but a bit wider with beautiful brown. My daughter absolutely loves these little guys. They have done great and hissed on the first day I'm sure to being discontent during their travel. One does not hiss at all anymore and the larger one has his days but will only do it a few times. I think with time he will get use to being petted and not hiss. There guys are held and petted daily. They are given veggies and fruit but sure do love dog food for protein! I would buy from this seller again as communication was great and the little guys arrived in good condition. I originally asked about two females and the seller was very honest and advised that the females would be okay together but would more than likely arrive pregnant which is what I wanted to avoid our first go around. That was appreciated! My daughter was happy with her birthday present!*UPDATE* Unsure how old these adult males were when we received them but they are both dead. One died in August and the other in October. I know they don’t live but a couple years but we could have gotten more life than 2-4 months out of them. Disappointed at the life span once we received them. Maybe they were old but that stinks.

Healthy Roaches
The sexed pair of hissing roaches were in perfect shape & healthy. They are beautiful & thriving & like to hang out on my fingers. The male only hissed once, but he got used to being handled, which is understandable.

Arrived alive and kicking!
I ordered two hissers (a male and female). They arrived way before they were scheduled to. I was a little concerned when I saw they were mailed in a plastic mailer but they were fine when I opened the package. They were listless for a few days but I increased their heat and they are doing just find now. They're a bit smaller than I expected but I didn't specify that I wanted full grown adults either. I gave three stars on "value for money" because they were quite pricey but I could not find any for sale in my local area. These are truly pets to me, not food for other animals (well, if I get overrun, the babies will be for my chickens). The two I received are in good shape and don't appear to be lacking in anything. I am looking forward to watching these guys get bigger!

Very Poor Specimens
Despite the terrible packaging, both roaches survived. The roaches were simply put inside a USPS box with a crumbled-up piece of paper with an outer plastic cover without holes and shipped.- The male Roach has three legs partially missing- Both roaches appear to be under-feed and were kept in overly crowded conditions due to legs being partially missing.--- I DO NOT recommend this seller ---

So worth it!
I got these as a prank for my sister from across the country. They scared the pants off of her and then made the rounds through her kids’ classes for the students to see and landed with the HS science teacher. Pretty cool bugs!

They made it alive!
This is my first time owning hissers as pets, although I did have some experience keeping dubia roaches as feeders for my tarantula. The shipping was faster than I expected- shipped the same day and came within 2 days which I was really happy about (ordered on Monday morning, came Wednesday). There was a small piece of carrot in the package the roaches came in along with strips of paper and that certainly was a relief for me because I was worried about them being hungry/dehydrated during the travel.Plus it has gotten chillier where I live but they made it alive! They seemed a bit sluggish when I was trying to handle them right out of the box but I'm assuming they were just weary from the travel and because of the colder weather. The male did hiss at me a few times which I take is a good sign haha. I got one male and one female and they both look to be in good condition except for the female missing half of one of her antennae :(I already had their enclosure prepared with food/water. Once inside the female immediately skittered into one of the caves to hide while the male was still very sluggish and near motionless, but eventually both he and the female where sharing the same cave.By next morning I discovered the romaine lettuce I left had been nibbled on, and it looked like they tried some of the dry roach food too when the lights were out!I'm looking forward to observing and handling them more over the weekend but overall I'm just glad they made it alive and I wouldn't hesitate to buy more hissers from this seller. I'm just a little sad the female is missing an antenna.

Lovely little bugs
I received two cockroaches, one Male and one female. They’ve been a great addition to my colony. They are healthy and happy. The box DOES NOT say that there are live insects in it. My box got shaken a lot but thankfully the roaches were okay.

Eek a bug!
My new hissers arrived a day early, in fine shape, they've been eating tangerine and bananas right out of the shipping container. These are adults, not tiny nymphs, each almost 3 inches long and very pretty coloring. I handled both and they never hissed at me. Now they're resting in a nice coir bed, very tired from their adventure! These are great pets for a kid, so mellow and they don't have hard pokey legs, it's like a feather tickling when they walk on your arm. I'm hooked! My grandkids will love them too!
