Painful Calf and Shin
These waders work fantastic. Really tough and warm enough on a 30* morning. Only problem is if you have any amount of calf muscle and do more than a half mile of walking in these you will half bruised calf and shin muscles from the half-boot digging and beating against your lower leg. Really surprised LaCrosse designed these so poorly. Love the waders except they need to make the boot portion higher.

Lasted 3 trips to the woods
Lasted one month in the wood before getting leaks in the legs. I was told this is pretty typical for kids waders but I thought for the price it would last longer than 3 weekends in the woods

Falling apart
I bought these waders at a local outdoor outlet, it was the best (or at least most expensive) they offered. The first few times wearing them the boots rubbed my calves raw because where the upper boot meets the neoprene is very narrow and squeezes your legs. So I learned to wear a second part of socks. I am 5'9" and 180lbs with a 10 size boot. The waders were a little tall for me but I'm still trying to figure out how much weight I would have to gain to take up all the internal space. I could fit two of me in these waders. I have only worn them about 6-7 times and now the seam is coming apart in the crotch. I learned this while standing waist deep in a 45 degree Manistee River, ended my fishing day. Of course I am well beyond any warranty period and now I have to glue together this pile of crap. I won't make this mistake again.
