Pursuit of Spice Ethiopian Doro Wat, 1.4 Ounce

We have used this spice mix several times to make Doro Wat. It has a nice flavor, and you can adjust the heat if you want to...since all the different spices are packaged individually, you can use less chili powder or cayenne pepper if you wish. It smells wonderful in the house when I use it.

Perfectly proportioned and fresh spices. We made Doro Wat with this spice pack, according to the directions on the back of the pack. The dish came out just like we have at our local Ethiopian restaurant. It was delicious. The benefit of buying our spices this way instead of in bulk is that the pack arrives fresh whereas bulk spices will go bad before we use them all.

These spices are excellent combined together to make a great wat sauce! I think even better than Ethiopian restaurants

Initially, I was overjoyed at spotting this spice pack on Amazon. But that joy turned sour after we tried it one night for dinner. The flavor was just not right. There was something missing..it lacked the vibrant flavor that Doro Wot is.Not recommended.

I don't like it, and I didn't use it

Nice dish, tasty & very close to the DoroWat my friend cooks but not exact. We mixed chicken breasts and veggies together to make this dish. Expensive, enough spice for 1 pot dinner, that's it.

I have to travel far to eat Ethiopian food. This spice kit allows me to cook Ethiopian foods at home. The spice combinations are great. Thank you
