Tacky BOB Adhesive Beading Case

It was very sticky and I had a little trouble picking the bed up with my needle

I used one of these for a massive cross stitch project that I just completed about a month ago. It called for over 200 French knots, and I HATE French knots. This was my first foray into using beads in lieu of the hated knots, and as soon as I stitched my first bead, I vowed never to tie another knot. In any event, in preparation for this undertaking, I watched several YouTube videos, and one of them swore by the Tacky Bob. I promptly ordered one and learned that the video was right - it makes the job so much easier, and you can create your own little palette of several colors of beads, all held securely right at your fingertips.Flash forward to the end of that project, when I had about 30 beads left to go. I dropped my Tacky Bob on the wooden floor and broke the hinge. Even though it wouldn't stay closed without being babied along, we made it through the project.The best comment I can make is that, when it became obvious there was no way to repair my Tacky Bob, I immediately ordered another. This particular tool will remain in my arsenal, and I wouldn't think of beading without it. In fact, I may need to order another one, if there's another color I like, just to keep in reserve.

I thought this sounded like a great idea, but when I tried to use it, the beads stuck too well and I had to struggle to get any bead onto my needle. I finally handpicked each bead off the tacky surface and put then back on my little tray and started beading. Sorry I ever bought it!

Love this product no more chasing beads. I use beads to embellish my cross stitch and this is real handy to have.

This device is wonderful for knitters adding beads to their projects as they knit. The adhesive is strong enough to hold beads while traveling with my project but releases them easily onto my crochet hook to be placed on the yarn. Wish I'd had this sooner!

What a great invention. Every serious cross stitcher need this product. Finally no more spilled beads. It holds extra needles, threader and at least five different colors of beads. I love it. .

This works great for small beading projects such as crazy quilting or embellishments.

I have one of these and they are definitely a must have if you do any beadwork. Just pour your beads in and they will stay in the exact spot you put them. The lining is sticky so it holds them in place until you pick them up with your needle. No more spilling beads and picking them up. I promise you will love this product!
