This was a great solution. Very sturdy. Magnets are very strong. But I had a problem with the spices sliding forward every time I closed the oven door. So I turned it over, put the magnets on the new bottom - that was the top - so that the back lip with the holes in it is now facing down behind the backsplash, and the front now has a lip. See picture. I also just ordered some rubber shelf liner to put on the shelf to keep the spices from moving forward.

This is a good shelf but...After putting it in place, the oven controls would not operate properly. Since we didn't use the oven for the first several days after installation, we never realized the shelf had caused a problem. Even after the first baked casserole did not cook properly, we didn't make the connection. We chalked that up to my male culinary skills on a new recipe.A few days later, the wife, with better culinary skills, on a regular recipe informed me that the oven was malfunctioning. After some troubleshooting, we figured out that the magnets were messing with the electronic controls.To solve the problem, we moved the magnets to the outside edge of the range backsplash control unit. See arrows on photo.I find it hard to believe this issue hasn't popped up before, and appropriate warning given.

This is amazing and I have no idea I didn’t buy one of these years ago!!!My new stove wouldn’t get close enough to the wall to allow me to rest anything on top without it falling behind. This was absolutely PERFECT.I am very happy that the magnets provided were able to be moved. This allowed me to place them perfectly for maximum hold because my top was slightly curved.

Our new stove sits further away from the wall than the old one, so the items I usually keep on the back were in danger of falling behind and becoming wedged in the extra space. This shelf turned out to be the perfect solution to the problem! The item is sturdy and the stainless finish I chose to match the stove blends in seamlessly. It was also installed in mere seconds as advertised via the two attached magnetic strips along the bottom of each side. The magnets also have a protective covering along the bottom, so I'm not worried about causing scratches to the stove while using the shelf. Customer service was also amazingly responsive to a minor issue that came up with shipping, contacting me almost immediately to resolve my problem and actually following through on their promises. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy, unlike what's typical from most other companies. I'm very happy with both the shelf and response in dealing with the manufacturer and would purchase from them again without hesitation.

This shelf turned out to be just what I needed. I tested m stove for magnets after ordering and the pull was there, but not very strong, so I was worried. When placed correctly the shelf is securely attached and should stay in place. It’s pretty spacious, so I still have room to add more items. I’m so glad I decided to take a chance on this item.

I looked at this shelf for about a year in hopes of the price dropping because I didn’t want to pay $40 for a simple shelf. It never dropped so I figured that it must be in high demand. So I decided to go ahead and purchase one. The $40 is well worth it! This shelf is so simple yet so convenient for everyday cooking items and it looks very nice. It looks like it’s a part of my stove. I love it. 😊

I can't put a pic b/c I don't know how to transfer from phone to computer, senior, however, the shelf is as advertised. magnetic, 30 inches and can hold kitchen items as salt and pepper shakers and I have a couple of "what knots" on it for decoration. it's just too expensive at $39.00, I would feel at ease at maybe $19.99 that's all it's worth.

We use this mainly to keep crumbs from falling behind the stove as we have a very low back to our stove. The size is great. It covers our stove entirely plus about an extra inch on each side. It is long enough to put eight 1 pound canisters of salt on it. I chose not to secure this to the wall with a screw as we don’t really put much on top. But it has been great for what we wanted it for, which was to prevent food and grease from going behind the stove. I just wish it came with more magnets. They provide two VERY strong magnets to hold this in place but I wish the provided four for greater sturdiness for people who do wish to put something heavier on top and don’ t want to drill into their wall. It’s super easy to clean and comes in different styles to blend right in with your stove. Nice product, just buy a couple extra magnets if you are going to put anything real heavy on top.
