Arkansas waterfalls guidebook

I have a new appreciation for the work Tim Ernst did waterfall hunting after going out for a couple of these hikes. Thank you!

This books is extremely detailed and never leaves the car when we are in Arkansas. Extremely handy to have when cell phone service is not existent. He is the expert in Arkansas for sights to see! Buy this book! And a GPS!

This book is a great resource for anyone wishing to lace up the hiking boots and search for waterfalls in the natural state. The first several pages explain the authors rating system for the hikes and provide tips on the best times to take the trips and for photographing these gorgeous waterfalls.The best part is that all of the main waterfalls in this book have their GPS coordinates and hiking distances listed making it easier to find them. Tim Ernst has dozens of books written about Arkansas outdoors from the point of view of a photographer. My personal favorite is a book of stunning color and black & white stills taken of most of the falls in this book. However, this book does not cover all of the waterfalls in the state and I have found quite a few on my own and by accident. All things considered I still give this book a 5 star rating for getting me off the couch and in the fresh air. Thank you Tim.
