Growth is lush and fast
I've been using this for about a week, and can already see an improvement in the growth of my plants. The plants were dying off, and were in dire need of nutrients. Now, I can already see new growth and brighter colors within my aquarium. My tank is a densely planted 10 gal, so I've been adding one pump worth each day. My advise would be to refer to a YouTuber "Aquarium Co-op" for an understanding of how much to dose your tank. The video I watched is excessively long-winded, but you can get the general idea by skipping around here and there. All in all, I have to say that this was a great buy for my aquarium.

Safe and affordable
I like the low price for this product compared to other liquid fertilizers on the market. It works very well for my planted tank and all my fish are healthy.

This is a decent overall freshwater plant fertilizer
First off this has both nutrients and minerals which is why it will cause your tank to cloud up for about an hour. No big deal it goes away in an hour as it dissolves in the water etc. Make sure you shake the bottle well before use as this stuff settles out.Now the pump dispenser gets crusted up pretty quick so I just use a messing spoon to dose. Now as far as how well it works well it works, for me, as well as any other nutrients I tried that were premixed. This is good for low to medium tech tanks in my opinion. I use flourish excel with this and after maybe two months of fiddling with the dosage I finally have it down for my tank. My dosage is only relevant to my tank setup as it is for you. The instructions are close but I would start with the middle dosage and watch your tank. The higher recommended amount was a bit too much but that again is affected by plants, lights, fish bio load etc so you have to find the happy equilibrium. Using Excel to me helps a ton for bio available carbon without resorting to CO2 injection.I have done hi tech tanks with CO2 injection and mixing my own nutrients from scratch but not into that much work on my tanks anymore. I enjoy a nice planted natural looking tank but I also have a life. This with some Excel works for me.Now would another manufacturer nutrients work well...sure...of course. I just tried this for a change and now that I have it down I won’t change and mess up the balance but yah...top end brands work well to.

This is Herbicide not Fertilizer
I have used this product before and was thrilled with the amount of plant growth I was getting. I started with one squirt dsily in my 60 gal shrimp tank, and had to cut back to weekly applications because my plants were growing too fast. My tank turned into a jungle and the plants actually started growing OUT of my tank. I mean, I couldn't have asked for better results. So why 1 star?As you can see in the photos, the additive should be a dark green color. It looks kind of like a runny spirulina smoothie. It doesn't have much of an odor, and it does it's job exactly as expected. At least, that's what my past experience has been. . .This time around, the liquid was a dark rusty reddish brown. It smelled a little off. I used it once and within a day or two started having plants die off, and my water turned milky white. I rescued the plants with 3 50% water changes and a total canister filter change, but it was annoying to say the least.I wrote to the manufacturer, asking if the product had changed, or if it was unusual for the product to be dark red. I have yet to get a response from my inquiry.Ordinarily, I'd be returning this, but Covid is kind of making returns difficult, so I'm stuck with a 20 dollar bottle of liquid rust.Awesome.

Buy this with confidence. Works exactly as stated and so simple/cost effective...see note
I have used flourish and flourish excel before switching to this 1 step. There is no comparison. While Fluorish smells nice and my plants did ok, the Glosso caused them to turn a deeper green and growth accelerated noticeably. I tossed the pump and dose my tanks with a pipette while shaking the container with the original screw top lid so there is no mess or loss. I have been using it for weeks and the container is barely showing much use and i have almost 80 gallons across 4 tanks. Will stick with this product going forward. Anubias, mosses, Camboba, etc all love it and no co2.**Note after several months of use**This product kills mystery snails. No doubt about it. Starts with shell clouding then malaise and death. As soon as it starts building up in the tank the snails shut down and die off in several weeks. I have like 3 or 4 left out of a dozen in several tanks and since I stopped dosing the tanks as frequently, the snails are more active. Must be a mineral issue. Pest snails even declined in numbers which I DONT WANT since i have a puffer tank and they eat pond and bladder snails. I would reformulate this product and test it long term on snails since they are a huge part of the hobby. Fluorish may be coming back into my routine as it smells nice and doesnt have a huge plume effect as well that this product does on dosing.

Great in low-tech with invertebrates
I tried this after using a really terrible product and killing most of my neocaridina shrimp. I was initially concerned about the copper content, but found that like e-coli in humans, copper is useful to plants and invertebrates at extremely low doses. This one was listed I think <.0001 ppm or something so I gave it a shot.I’m using the recommended dosage for my densely-planted 75 gal, and my plantlife exploded so quickly that there was almost no open space left in the tank. I don’t use co2, so I was shocked at how well this worked. I just trimmed out the tank for the first time and got 2 lbs of excess foliage out. Like a quarter of it was duckweed. My one remaining shrimp not only thrived while I used this product, she got berried the day I introduced some replacements and is about to pop any day. Some advice on usage: Shake it up every time, and wipe off the tip. The leftover fertilizer mineralizes at the nozzle, but it’s brittle and breaks off easily. I just flake it into the tank.
