3000G/0.01G Lab Scale Electronic Analytical Precision Experiment Balance with Battery LCD Digital 0.01g Scientific Lab Instrument with 500g Calibration Weight Ready to Use

This scale is reasonably accurate and calibratable. The two 500 gram calibration weights included with my balance were accurate within 0.01 grams My balance is accurate at + or - 0 .03 grams over the entire range which as good as name brand balances costing between $300 and $500. I have used this balance for about 18 months. There are two potential problems with the balance. First, the internal rechargeable batteries in my balance only worked for a couple of months, then died. Not a problem for me since I power the balance with the line transformer included. The second problem is the line transformer may not last. My transformer is fine but the balance I bought my son had a failed line transformer after a couple of weeks as well as failed internal rechargeable batteries. I gave him a 9 volt transformer I had laying around and the the balance is fine. The balance takes a 9 volt 300 milliamp line transformer which is readily available from Amazon if you have a transformer problem. For me, this balance is great deal for the price in spite of the problems. We have used this balance for a year and a half and the quality is solid and compares toour other much more expensive instruments.

This is an amazing scale.I use this to assist with my CBD extraction process and it is SUPER accurate.I make topical CBD products and get them lab tested before selling, and somehow I was always off by one or two mgs.It wasn’t enough to make a difference, but I’m obsessed with accuracy so it was really bothering me.Using this scale I was able to get the mgs to be exactly what was initially measured so now the salve and bath salts I make are completely accurate down to the last mg.I am thrilled!

Scale is very accurate, but the power supply "wall wart" died two weeks after I received this scale. Been using a workbench 9VDC regulated power supply to run it and keep the battery charged. The spring terminals on the included battery had to be formed to make sure they make good contact to the scale battery input contacts. I discovered this contact problem when the workbench power supply output supply current was observed to be erratically going up and down while the battery was charging. Once I reformed the battery spring terminals the supply current was stable. Would like a new power module, but one from a more reliable manufacturer.

Great price for value winner. Very accurate. I weighed a piece of facial tissue, then tore it up into tiny pieces and reweighed the tissue by adding them back again one at a time. The difference was 0.02, possibly from the added oils from my fingers. Good enough for my needs. One complaint is that my bubble level is not 100% centered when the unit is actually level at the plate. Close though. No big deal. Instructions for calibration aren’t quite right, but it’s not hard to figure out. The unit has a rechargeable battery along with the power adapter , although it is not mentioned in the manual. Still, I can recommend this unit for the home and hobbyist.

These balances are a great value! It is difficult to find balances with a capacity of over 1 kg and a precision of 0.01g. Standard 500 g masses have been placed on the balance and have ranged from 499.97g to 500.07 grams. That's a 0.10g difference out of 500 g a 0.02% difference... For well under $100! Have only had these balances (I bought 3 of them) for about a month, but all had similar accuracy and precision. Hopefully, they will hold up under normal high school student use, but we can afford to buy more every few years for this price. Very satisfied!

Unfortunately my house was stolen, one of the things was stolen is the power supply of my scale, I think is a great scale, but when I went to Steren to buy a power supply I don't know what kind I need, I read the manual of this scale, but nothing says about the power supply. Someone can please send me the voltage and amperes of the power supply of this equipment to buy similar? I know I can use aaa battery but I prefer a power supply. Thank you for the information. And I was very lucky my scale wasn't stolen!

The scale itself, is a very good scale. The issues I had with this product were the battery not holding a charge, and the power supply failing after one day of use. Luckily I had a 12v power supply and it seems to work, even though the supplied transformer was a 9v.

Works great. I’m a chemistry high school teacher and my students find it easy to use and it’s pretty accurate. I really enjoy the fact that I can get a fast reading, specially when I have students waiting to get their weights calculated, gives the weight right away. Love the fact that it came with rechargeable batteries aside from the adapter it came with.
