I got this for my front porch. Water stands in the beds around it and we tend to have an abundance of mosquitos. I have to wait there in the morning with my son for the bus and it’s always a full blown mosquito attack. After one night of this light being on, I didn’t notice a single mosquito. It’s also great that it is both a normal porch light bulb as well as the bug zapper all in one.Revised*** I decided to try it inside since many people use it there. I put it in my master bathroom because I noticed a couple pesky mosquitos in there that I couldn’t seem to catch. 8 hrs later when I woke up both were lying dead in the bulb. VERY pleased and now I’m going to order one for all my outside lights as well as for a few rooms in my house.

I only give it a 2 stars because according to other reviews you could keep the blue light on without actually having the light bulb on. Which that's what I wanted for the night time, but I couldn't see how to do that it has no little switch or nothing. So it defeats my purpose which was to mainly use it at night. It's also a pretty big size didn't fit in my lamp.

put in lamp didn't work put in outside light started smoking popped and ruined my outside light, Ruined my lamp could have caught my house on fire, Husband jerked it down,,,,,,,,took water hose to it and threw away ,,,,now what are u going to do ,,,,,,thanks for ruining my lamp! What if I had been gone my whole house could have burnt down, don't want another,,

Tried it out tonight and worked great! We have a horrible problem with mosquitos and this is amazing! I can sit on the porch without a million bugs attacking me. I love you can also have it as just a light when needed without the bug light on! Will definitely be purchasing more!

Unfortunately i didn’t get a photo of it in use because we are swapping out our light fixtures so I could only use it for a couple of hours but it worked amazing! The bugs are terrible out by my house so i am super happy not to be attacked by them anymore when i am coming or going!

Easy to install, cheap price, & it actually really works. I'm not a lover of bugs in any way, especially as I'm coming home at night. This helps to keep me from getting attacked by a swarm of bugs. Good deal for the price.

Works great, we have a sitting area between the garage and the house, we like to sit there on the evenings but the mosquitos were making it hard for us to be able to enjoy sitting there after we installed the zapper no more mosquitos, we get to enjoy our evenings.

Im happy to say this mosquito killer bulb is great for small places suck as campers, etc! I will recommend this item to anyone!
