These stylus are short, the tube (pen) is about 3in and the cord is about 3in. There's a pip on the end (about 1/2in) that is designed to fit Iinto the ear jack of the phone. It easily slips into the jack, grips inside, and is easily extracted. It works great, is accurate, as i'm using it on a Samsung Galaxy android phone. It takes a slight light pressure on the touch screen. Easy to use it to drag, copy/paste, etc. i think it's a rubber tip, but it does not leave "footprints" on my screen, as has happened with other stylus pens. These are exactly as described. The 12 pens come in a sturdy vinyl? pouch, and a microfiber cleaning cloth for your phone. This is my second purchase of this exact item same item . The size is ideal for phone, purse, pocket, power bank storage case, etc. A med condition makes using my fingers to type, scroll difficult: with this pack of 12, I always have a stylus available.

I have ordered these styluses at least twice before and will continue to use them. I have to reorder because sometimes they just go missing, sometimes my grandson pops the rubber tip off, and sometimes I get compliments on them and give them away. I have lots of trouble with accuracy using just my finger tips, so an attachable stylus really works for me. I must, however, say that in each pack of 12, there are a few that have manufacturing problems: one whose black plastic plug is too big to fit the headphone jack; one that has no black plastic plug attached to the stylus string; and occasionally a plug that breaks off in the jack requiring really careful use of nail clippers to grasp the broken plug to extract it. I won't stop using them but just be forewarned.

Edit: 03/22/17 added pics Edit: couldn't add pics from my phone. Will add later. PROS: Arrived quickly in an awesome (absurdly sturdy) vinyl zippered bag. The bag is a retail style container so has company info on the reverse. Gift of a large, nice quality, glass polishing cloth. Color variety of these is nice. CONS: As shown in the pic, I separated the styli that work from those that don't. I took them apart to see if there was bad contact between the nib and inner barrel. Couldn't open the barrel without breaking it so I quit investigating. Anyway, the nibs will function if placed on different barrels, so I feel I still got my money's worth. The barrels and cords on these are as small as they look. Fine for me but people with large hands or any debility may find them difficult. Pro? Con? They're VERY light in weight.

Right size, quality good

rI wish I had not ordered these. In order to use them you have to take them out of the jack. Which defeats the purpose because I wind up putting it down and can not find it. It works on my phone but my tablet does not have a headphone jack. I discovered this after the purchase. If the string was even 3 inches longer it could stay attached while in use. A serious design flaw.

They're simply wonderful. Eye-catching colors so that I can easily spot one on my cluttered desk. Easy to tuck into my waist belt in case I lose the one attached to my phone. Enough of them to station around the house at key points and to stash in the car and in the emergency bag. The tips are the perfect density and actually work on the always stubborn "p" on my phone keypad. A bit hard to hold onto occasionally when my hands are too dry but that's minor. I'm overall delighted with these.

I ordered these short stylus pens with jack connector because I needed a way to type in my cell other than by fingers. In addition, something short so that it did not hang too long off of of the phone. They work perfectly for my small hands but I can see where someone with a large hand or thick fingers may have a problem. The accuracy when using the stylus is excellent. The only thing I wish is that it the string was a bungee cord instead so that I could use the pen while still attached to the jack and not have to pull it out. Easy to lose or put the the pen down and forget to pick it up again. I would purchase them again if needed.

If you're looking for a product to assist with using your phone because of having larger hands or fingers or other issues making it difficult to text, might want to consider other options. The product DOES work, if you can find the ones in the package that work, about half of them didn't (and i'm not sure how a non-electronic product fails.). Further, these styluses are very very short. If you're a person who has larger hands these will feel like you're working with a pencil that has been sharpened down to nothing (shorter than a golf pencil, if i could make that correlation). The picture will illustrate what I'm speaking of - what, to me and most people, is a "normal" stylus versus what these are. The price of this product simply warrants throwing them away versus the hassle of returning them, and it's probably documented somewhere in the reviews that they're too short, but it is NOT in the product title or description (Perhaps that could be an improvement the seller could make) but It's my hope that this review will help some people avoid similar disappointment.

Great stylus for my mobile and tablet. I'm always hitting the wrong keys with my finger but these styluses are perfect
