Her favorite character right now is Elmo, so it was a perfect book for my granddaughter

My son has never actually watched Sesame Street, but he saw Elmo somewhere and loves him, so I got this book and he is OBSESSED! It‘a a great introduction to the characters, and has great, bright, fun illustrations. A few reviews I read talked about how it’s kind of scattered and isn’t an actual story, which is true, but to me it felt more like Elmo is introducing himself, his friends, what he likes to do, and what he wants to be when he grows up. It’s been on repeat in our house since it arrived! HUGE HIT!

My daughter, a huge Sesame Street fan, loves this book. It has a good mix of interactivity ("Tickle Elmo's feet") and story-telling ("Do you know Elmo's favorite color?"). My husband accurately described it as a book that captures what it's like when you're chasing a young child around who is showing off all their toys and talking about their friends... not any long / coherent thoughts, but perfect for a child.This book was a hit

My grandson is in love with Elmo and the whole Sesame Street gang and he loves the book and the wanted me to read it over and over again

Love the book but the monster book is her favorite

Any child that enjoys Elmo and Sesame Street will love this book. The illustrations are vibrant and my 2 year old loves to find the characters she knows on each page. The Golden books really are the perfect size for young kids
