They’ve helped me shave weight off my rope access rig where I had been using BD mini-wires (which are pretty light to start with). Because of their tiny size (and they’re smaller than I expected) they don’t move around as much once in place, don’t get snagged as often, and maybe because of both, they don’t get cross loaded accidentally. They are really small though - one reason I got them was to connect the non- working end of my Petzl Grillion to my harness, but it’s actually too small for that.
