Harley 3/4” wheel bearing hub race
It did the job right for me, no problem on a Harley tapered bearing. (99 and down HD) remember to not over tighten it

Fast and easy.
I could see no way to remove the races from the neck of my 03 Dyna Wide Glide. With this tool it took minutes.Tightened it in place.4 or 5 light blows using a drift and light sledge and they were out.I was actually surprised how easy they came out.

This things is amazing
In my youth I did a gazillion stem bearing the old fashioned way with a hammer and a punch but the two bikes in my garage only one race came out that way. Good review led me to this tool so returning the favor. 1997 Kawasaki Concours and 1990 Honda PC800.PC800 bearing pooped right out because it was an old ball bearing with decent shoulder just in a "necked out" portion of the lower stem so getting a punch on it was tough.Concours took a bit more fiddling. I saw that lots of reviewers ground down a portion but that was not required for me. Expand the tool as much as you then wiggle it and expand it more. Make sure it is square in the bore and then try once more with the wiggle and tighten using a standard shortish 12 mm wrench. Find the largest socket that can slip down the stem (HF 27mm deep for me) and attach your longest sacrificial impact extension. One small tap to make sure the tool is square ont he lip (I rechecked the tool for tightness but it was maxed out). Three whacks with 2# drilling hammer for the bottom race (better swing angle) and 5 for the top. Done!I literally could only be happier if I had not wasted time the old fashioned way. The tool is excellent!

Race bearing puller
I used this product to pull the race bearings on a 2005 Super Glide. I was hesitant after reading a couple reviews where it was stated that it wouldn't work on a Harley-Davidson. That is not correct. It worked perfectly. I will say that you have to tighten it all the way open and I used 1/2 in galvanized pipe 12in long to hammer it out. That is what would span the gap, and fit into the steering head. A couple wacks with a hammer and they were out.

Its makes life easy when you have the right tool for the job
I've been wrenching on cars and motorcycles more than half of my life and I usually get by with a drift or a long sacrificial screwdriver to remove neck bearing races. Removing a very fine lip lower neck bearing race can be a hell of a job sometimes, and if you are like me and have slipped with a drift or hit the top of your hand then you have probably yelled with expletivesI received my package from Amazon and opened it up, placed the device into position grabbed a 1/2" box wrench tightened the draw bolt then proceeded with a pin drift and small ball peen hammer to strike the body of the flange. About 3-4 whacks a side and the race went flying across my garage. It was too easy. This tool works as described and if you are working on a bearing race without it you should just break down and buy the tool. You'll wonder what to do with the next hour of time you saved...

Great tool, worked well after some tweaking
Once i shaped the bottom lip to a finer point, it worked brilliant. Would work well without any adjustments on a bearing where there is more of a lip showing, the old bmw’s are notorius for flush fitting bearings, hence i had to shape it a bit sharper. Worked really well though, happy with it.

Not great, but it worked
Used it to remove Harley steering neck bearings. Harley doesn’t leave much to get a bite on with any tool but this tool in particular did not grip well at all. Once tightened it would just pop out with a couple hits. After making a slight gap with a chisel it managed to get a grip on the bearing but it could be improved with more of an angle on the tooth of the tool so I will be grinding it and modifying it for the next time. In the end I must say, it did work for a job I never could have done without it, but it was still a big pain in the @$$! Also it might work better on other bikes but it’s not very Harley friendly, v-rod in particular.
