I have a very large birdbath, and when I empty it, there is a torrent of water that spills onto the ground. This created a muddy mess! I first thought of seed and hay, but the water is emptied frequently, and the force of it would wash anything planted away. The same for grass plugs; they would never take root.This grass is absolutely beautiful. I was able to install it quickly and easily, and best of all the water from the birdbath drains through the grass. No more muddy mess, or a bare dirt patch. As you can see, the grass blends in with the lawn well.I did purchase metal spikes (with the green top) to secure it in place.Very, very happy with my purchase.
