It floated all right, the bright orange color was so visible from 20 ft away in the ocean. Acted like a shock absorber if dropped on the hard floor. Can reach the controls easy

If your not gonna be falling, or jumping off anything from high rates of speed you’ll be fine. I’d recommend getting a float handle to go with it, or something else to help back up you device to float for extra support if you’re gonna be doing fast move ones in water. Or just buy go pro version. This one kind of floats, but will be hard to chase down if you loose it one on strong wave or something of that nature

Gopro 6.Initially I hated it, it was way bigger than I thought it would big. The OEM case fit snug in it. The holes are off a little but I use the GoPro Remote so I dont really use the buttons. The lens cover doesnt fit with this on so that is a negative. Overall its ok, it floats my GoPro and I can see the screen so it does its function.

Works great with my GOPRO hero7 black. I had this on my Go Pro with a goose neck clamp mount and it is able to keep that weight afloat! Perfect for my needs

I use this mounted on a surfboard, the floaty its meant to be used along the frame that comes attached to the gopro, there is no way to use the floaty without it, so if that's a problem for you take it into account. Given this, the sound its almost muted because since the gopro's mic isnt something very remarkable to begin with, It helps to protect the gopro from hits since its very sturdy.Given its size, it cant be used with a waterproof case (some people like to used it even when the gopro its supposed to be able to withstand being under water without a case.

I like the color, easy to assembly. works as expected!
