It would be nice if it heated a little quicker but at least I don’t have to rewire my garage for 220V. Can’t beat the price and convenience of 120V. I had to bend one of the heating elements in order for it to clear the inner HERMS coil on my HLT brew kettle. I tested it the other day and it works as expected. I was able to maintain a temperature of 153F in the HLT using an Inkbird IPB-16S PID controller. The 2 in tri clamp fitting is great as well. Review: Tell a friend - Works and feels like a champ. If set you with PID you can set the temperature and forget about it cause it will self maintain. Do not operate element outside of liquid.
