Acrylic is probably 1/8in thick, maybe slightly thicker. Acoustic sample is twice as thick. I’m guessing 1” or so but it’s not provided anywhere.** A: The tubing thickness is 5/8", which is the minimum frame depth required. The insert also occupies just over 1 1/4" of viewable space on each edge of the window frame. **Q: How do you make the purchase?** A: I purchased the actual windows directly from Indows. Only the sample is sold through Amazon. **Q: I'm interested in purchasing Indow Windows for traffic noise reduction. How effective is this product in reducing car running noise?** A: We ended up buying ours from climate seal for thinner profile since we didn’t have normal wood frames around our windows. Fingers crossed! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Samples of the framing, silicone tubing and acrylic for each product grade *by D***N on October 27, 2022* I purchased inserts through their representatives (a Fit Specialist) after seeing materials first. The corner cut is a good example of what the insert will look like in the corner of the window frame.
