Our jerky is made with 100% wild caught salmon from the Pacific Northwest. We use organic ingredients in our marinades and we are paleo friendly! That means no cane sugar, soy, corn, or GMOs. Why do we use Keta Salmon? Wild caught Keta salmon is one of the most abundant salmon species in the Pacific Northwest. Rich in Vitamin A and E, Iron and Calcium, and has a lighter flavor, which makes it perfect for smoking and marinating. Our jerky is full of healthy omega-3s, with about 900mg per bag. We hand cut all of our filets, marinate them over night, and then slowly smoke our salmon over a mix of hardwoods. There is almost no smoky flavor like you get with other salmon jerky. Go ahead and dive in!

This is an ok jerky
I ordered the sample pack. It came with two flavors, maple and chipotle. I thought the maple was very good. Good flavor, not too sweet. The Chipotle, however was a little "dusty" in regards to the flavor. Others, I'm sure would feel it was pretty good, just not my style. The texture for both was pretty good. A little dry at first, but gave way quickly. It had a good chew.If I were to buy again, I would not have a hesitation about purchasing the maple.

Too Salty, otherwise good quality
Decent product, quality of fish is good. Way too salty, though the rest of the seasoning is fine. Some folks might like it. It is not too sweet, like many of the fish jerkies. I've tried four bags of these and they were all identical in being oversalted. Dried Salmon naturally has an issue with being salty, but this brand Wile Merman Salmon Jerky is overwhelmingly salty.

Fishy and Unpleasant
I have tried a variety of Salmon Jerkys and enjoyed many, but this one tasted very fishy and I found it inedible. I tempted a couple of friends and after a quick whiff, they declined to indulge. On the bright side, my dog loved the stuff. He dug the discarded package out of the trash and all that remained was the chewed packaging. Very expensive dog food however. If you are considering this item, my recommendation is that you move on.

Good quality, a little salty for my taste
This stuff is the real deal, not ground up and reformed like some other brands. I tried Chipotle Molasses and Sweet Maple and they were a little too salty for my taste. Good product, I would try other flavors.

Not a great first impression
Only buying this once I feel bad for the 2 stars but....the taste was...off. The texture is very firm and the fish was hmm. I eat sardines so I’m used to a fishy fish. Nice packaging, flavors weren’t to my liking. Maybe just a bad batch ?

New batch gone wrong?
I've ordered this product plenty of times and have always loved it. This batch, whether done incorrectly, was completely different than what I've had before. Over-dry (almost burnt) and the flavor was non-existent. Hoping any new batches are made the old way, otherwise i won't be purchasing again.
