Be prepared to spend 5-6 hours to assemble. The box is about 70-80 lbs. so I had to take one piece at a time to the area where I needed to put it together. The directions came with pictures only, no written explanation. I found some damage in when putting it together, (5 areas) but did not have the energy to take it apart and return it. It's functional, except that it did not include trash cans for the trash bin, nor did it give a site or suggestion to buy them. I cannot find any that will fit. Plus, the trash drawer does not slide out completely, so any can that I put there will be difficult to take in and out. I'm very disappointed in this feature, because that was the main reason that I made this purchase. Overall, it's a nice piece, but does not serve one main purpose of trash and recycle storage for me. Therefore, I makes it too large for my kitchen.

We were SO excited to have more storage space in our kitchen. When searching this one looked great and was exactly what we were looking for. It was on pre-order when we bought it so we knew we were going to be waiting a few weeks, no big deal. However once it arrived, was unboxed and sorted, two crucial pieces were broken (what should’ve been two pieces, was 4 pieces due to breakage). I was so excited about this piece so I sought Amazons help for just replacing the broken pieces (after trying the manufacturer whose number didn’t work). Amazon wasn’t allowed to replace individual parts due to the manufacturer so the only option was to return it. The package was big, heavy and not easy to package back up. Amazon was very helpful but the manufacturer was not. Overall bummed and disappointed with this island.

Product itself is great. Exactly what I ordered, exactly what I wanted.However!!! I ordered it on July 1st. It said it would be 2 weeks. They postponed it another week, the day it was supposed to be delivered and then again. AND THEN AGAIN! Finally on the 3rd time postponed, I got it 2 days early.I put it together as soon as I got it, because well I was so excited and I waited 5 weeks for this thing. It took me 6 hours to put it together WITH HELP!!! THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE LIKE PUT THE BRACKET THIS WAY AND THEN HALF OF THEM WERE BACKWARDS. IT WAS HARD TO KEEP TRACK OF WHICH HARDWARE WAS WHAT BECAUSE THEY WERENT ALL LABELLED. HAD TO TAKE APART AND PUT BACK ON MULTIPLE THINGS! MULTIPLE TIMES! make the instructions the right way!! Label your hardware better. They never left the bag except for immediate use. Horribly written instructions and horribly labeled materials!!!

I would be very leary of purchasing this product unless you are prepared to spend hours setting this up with horribly written directions, and you have the brain and patience of an engineer! The product itself is just fine and it arrived with no damage. However, I ended up having to pay a professional handyman over $200 to set this up for us (and it even took him 4 hours). There are SO MANY pieces and parts, and the directions are small, diagram pictures. I would not buy this product or recommend it to anyone based on the difficulty or assembly.

LOVE the island!!!! Just exactly what I was looking for… HOWEVER… there was damage to 2 pieces , which Amazon compensated me for, and then we find there was 2 important pieces MISSING and a door that had a significant crack in it! I called Amazon for help, they gave me the manufacturer information and the phone number does not work, and the emails can not be sent😡. And Amazon wants to take it all apart, box it up and return it!!!!! Lesson learned.
