DGT11038S 1-1/2" IPS x 3/8" Foam Semi-Split Pipe Insulation - 126 Lineal Feet/Carton, Polyethylene

These were very easy to install. They were all very uniform and seem to be well constructed. They were very easy to work with in part because of the uniformity of the tubes. Every tube lined up so well that the sections were easy to connect. The same goes for making any angle cuts to follow the contour of the water lines. The sections being so uniform made cutting and connecting angles very simple for a fast installation of the entire hot water system. . when applying tape to the seams the tape went on easily and stayed on without any issues at all. I would definitely recommend this product. I would definitely use it again if needed.

Did what it was supposed to do. It has a slit started in the side. It's easy to split open to fit around a pipe by just using my fingers. I"m pretty happy with it.

We used it as a cover and insulation on a on ground water line to protect the line from the lava rock and the sun.It's been a few months and it seems to hold very well.

This is for 3/4 copper pipe, says right on the re-box item ! The 1 1/2" is the measurement of the entire outer diameter of the foam. IPS is Iron Pipe Size, meaning it was suppose to fit over iron pipe of 1 1/2". Too expensive to return. I'll have to double up on the foam to cover my 1 1/4" copper pipe like I did for a few feet right by the furnace. Thought I was getting the right size covering. Very wrong. It is self sealing tape type. This will take me way more time to install in the crawl space.

I got 1 6 foot length of foam and was expecting 120 feet for $98. Returning it asap. Waited 2 weeks for this.
