A great product, really effective.
Really good product - our two Jack Russells can be very “yappy” and their collars have quietened them down a lot. We left them on for a few days in the first instance, so they got used to them, now we only put them on if we’re going out for a bit and it’s a nice day. Because they have access to the garden through the dog flap I don’t want them to disturb neighbours by barking when we’re not there, and this does the job very effectively. It’s also important to note that they don’t dislike the collars at all. In fact, when I hold up the collars up they run over and sit down, waiting to have them on!

Short lived
We have a puppy/junior who barks at everything and anything. The collar worked great for the first few weeks when he was out with us in the garden constantly barking at neighbours, bikes other dogs etc...however the collar now has no effect now that we are a few weeks in. Also when you take your dog out and you have other distractions it has no effect as he just barks through it especially now he's used to it

Didn’t stop the barking. Won’t stay in place. Randomly works
You have to have the collar tight to work, the prongs go each side of the trachea and vibrates when they bark. However it doesn’t seem to matter how tight I pull it, it still slips, especially if my dog shakes. Which also sends this collar into beeping and buzzing. Then the other dog barks and the collar starts beeping and buzzing too!- very unfair and poor training as at this point my Spaniel has done nothing! On the occasions it actually worked when it was meant to, to start with it was good but it was quickly ignored by the dog, maybe because he is stubborn orMaybe because it started going off randomly so we had to take it off at times which then meant the full impact of training wasn’t fulfilled.Because of this I cannot say that the collar is useful.

Working like a charm so far
We’ve only had this collar a few days, so maybe things will change, maybe he’ll get used to it and start barking again! However, so far, it’s working like a charm. My male dog is a very anxious fella, he has a lot of medical issues, very limited sight and barks incessantly whenever there’s a group of people or dogs nearby. It’s very tiresome, not least for him as he gets so stressed through barking, ends up drooling and panting hard, plus it’s no fun being with him in this state, so we keep our outings to a very limited routine to minimise his stress but even then, he loses it frequently. I decided to try the collar at the beach where we go every day. It can be quite busy with other dog walkers, plus he knows the route and gets very excited when he realises where he’s going, he’s usually barking before we even step outside and once he starts, it’s impossible to pull him back from this. At the first bark, the buzzer sounded and he looked surprised, but stopped barking. It took a few repetitions, with increasingly long buzzes and the vibrating function was activated, but I could see him working out mentally that he was causing the reaction through his barking, and he stopped barking. Hallelujah! He’s worn it three times since then, always to the beach, and he isn’t barking at all now. He does still give out the odd little sound, as he’s worked out that he can give a tiny yelp and not trigger the collar, but this is a million times better than having him stressed to the max after a mammoth barking session. He is not afraid of the collar, he actually seems quite pleased that he has a special collar and his sister doesn’t, (might help that he gets a biscuit when the collar goes on) and he comes home relaxed and much less ‘panty’. It certainly does not stress him in any way wearing it, and this is vital to me. He seems to be responding much better to commands, as he’s paying attention now, not just barking aimlessly, and his recall has definitely been better the last few days. I don’t make him wear the collar every time he is out as I think it’s important for him to be able to bark normally like a dog upon occasion, say when we’re in a field and he gets a scent but it’s such a relief knowing that he does have the ability to come out and keep himself calm in busy situations when necessary. I’m looking forward now to trying this in a slightly more built-up setting, such as our local high street at a quieter time of the day. This kind of outing has been a complete no-no for him, but with care and building him up slowly, it might now be achievable. Years ago, we tried the anti bark collar with the citronella spray but this freaked him out so much, I only put it on him once, never again, it was clearly cruel for him and only made him feel worse. I really regretted trying it and so we’ve just tolerated his barking and avoided taking him to places he dislikes. I didn’t know about this type of device. I wish I had. I have a much happier dog now and I only hope it keeps working for him!Edited 1/8/18The collar stopped working suddenly and even a change of battery didn’t help. I contacted the company and received a quick response, with an apology and refund for the cost of the collar. A replacement purchase was also discounted. I have bought another collar as it was so successful. Nice company to deal with!

Works great until you change the battery
I have a miniature labradoodle who suffers from separation anxiety - I would definitely recommend this collar for short amounts of time. After the first wear, my dog would know not to bark as soon as I put it on him.My only worry is that I’ve changed the battery and it’s stopped working! Would appreciate any advice to get it to start working again!

Easy enough to adjust to size needed
The positive is it was delivered very quickly, neat little collar, simple enough instuctions, came with spare battery. Easy enough to adjust to size needed. It works but hasnt worked on my dog but maybe she is particularly yappy. The negative is although it said to be harmless, there are two prongs (sensors) that press into dogs throat that seem unnecessary as it is sesitive enough to work if collar is put on wrong way around. The prongs meant that when she tried to drink or lay down they must of made her her uncomfortable. Ive hung it up and wont use it personally and would return it if i could.
